Story Time.
So I went to a space themed party at my friend's frat last night, which was held in the blacklighted basement. It was really relaxed(i.e. brothers weren't going around asking who you were or restricting access to alcohol) and a lot of people I knew were there, so I was enjoying myself. I ended up meeting this pretty nice chick and we started dancing and having some fun. At this point, I had a few drinks in me(they had space themed drinks like "rocket fuel", which is basically vodka mixed with orange soda).
After my 4th or 5th drink, I started feeling pretty shitty though. I was exhausted and sat down on one of the couches with said chick. She probably had like two drinks, and asked if I was ok, and I said I was fine. Ha, bullshit. I barfed not too long after that, and then my friends saw me, took me outside, and gave me some water. I went back to the dorm and slept after that, and in that time I probably barfed two more times(we had left for the party at 11 and at this point it was 2 ish).
Problem was that I had a band thing in the morning at 7:30 for homecoming and there was a freshman cake race at 6 so my plan was to party and stay up all night. But, like I said, I slept because,honestly, I needed to. Somehow, I was able to set an alarm for like 5:30. I slept through it and then one of my friends woke me up at 7:20 because he knew I had to get up for the band thing.
So I got on my laptop and checked the info for the event and we had to meet at the Coliseum(the basketball stadium), which is kinda far away. I was completely awake and ok at this point, but I didn't want to put on my uniform and walk all the way over there. So I said **** it and went back to sleep until about noon. I went to eat with my PL(or RA, whatever you call it) and he heard what happened and gave me some shit(I mean he was laughing, not angry). I felt pretty shitty about the whole thing.
That was not the first time I had that many drinks or the first time I went to that frat. It was just weird. I think I had those drinks too quickly and I was dehydrated as hell(I should have a good amount of water before I left).

There is your problem...that is a horrifying drink. I've always been of the opinion that the worst thing you can mix with alcohol is sugary sodas. My first year roommate in college always mixed his Jack Daniel's with some off-brand black cherry soda and go to some crazy crowded bar/party and be puking his guts out within an hour. Always tried to blame it on the cafeteria food.
Mixing liquor with those energy drinks are even more heinous...are you really in that big of a rush to die?

Yeah.... I will disagree on mixing... I did alot of mixing in college and was ok.
I will agree wtih you on the energy drink mixing though.... I have never mixed with energy drinks and not gotten sick as hell.... don't do it.
Captain and Dr. Pepper was my favorite mix in college.... Vanilla Smirnoff and Orange soda (dreamsicle) was my 2nd.

I actually liked it. The vodka taste was masked pretty well. With that said, there was still probably a large portion of vodka in the drink. Had I eaten a solid meal and drank water before, I would have been ok.
