This will stay stickied where we can all bitch and moan about the closer situation. It will stay stickied for us until I see 3 straight games of either sale or santos. I prefer santos or another option that is a righty.

While it is early in the season, Ozzie can't use that as an excuse to not explore his other options for a reliable closer. If he truly is "All In", he will do what it takes to find a closer that can finish.

numerous conflicting reports right now. some saying sale is the closer, some saying that it is by committee and some saying thornton is the guy

I gave everyone Santos prior to the season starting. It was an easy call. He had the best upside and the least amount of risk. Now we are out a setup guy for sure and possible a messed up closer. I know many will hold Thorton accountable, but the defense matters.

I don't care how hard a ball is hit if it's playable.

Haven't had good luck with Royals players here.

I'd love Soria but it'd take alot to get him.

Absolutely no excuse to give up the game in the 9th. After 12 games, we very well could and should be 11-1. What's our record? 7-5. Things need to change NOW, while Detroit and Minnesota are struggling to win.
