Y do we live thru this shit. its the same shit everyday. great starting pitching. horrible offense and the thing that everybody in baseball knew that we would have problems with is our horrific bullpen. its pointless even watching this team past the 6 when our starting pitcher is out. i blame my dad for making me cub fan and he even called me today and said he was sorry he put me thru this missery. i am a die hard cub fan and never would trade my loyalty but i rather watch kids playing hard then these overpaid pieces of shits

Well Lou is done after this year, and then it will be another rebuilding process. I don't see the Ricketts spending a whole lot of money until the current crop of high contracts is gone.

LMAO. I remember in 2007, Scott Eyre lost a lot of weight, did horrible, then he turned his season around and said the reason was because he got fat again. LMAO. Maybe Zambrano should just stay fat. Eyre was like losing weight caused him to rotate forward too fast, getting fat again helped him stay back

i think z lost some muscle weight..losing muscle weight is very bad for athletes
but also having a little bit of fat isnt that bad in a sport like baseball where its all about power and strength and does not require extreme athleticism like basketball and football(jmo bcuz i know some of you will disagree with this)

Yeah, baseball is great because you can be a fat-ass and still be good. My dad was watching the 2006 World Baseball Classic, he was like all these Latin players are fat. None of these Asian players are fat.
