I gave up on the season 3 weeks ago. Lou pretty much don't care and quit, why should I care?

Well I look at it like this. Lou says changes are going to be made. I understand he only has so many options but really his changes are very minimal. I know he is trying to let Aramis and Lee work through their problems at the plate but keeping them in the 3-4 hole is killing us. Even if we get runners on base they are striking out or hitting into double plays and taking us out of innings. His big change today was benching Theriot because he doesn't walk enough. A-Ram is not getting on base at all. Just because he has a huge contract doesn't mean he should be in there playing. If he is killing the team by not hitting who cares about his contract? There is just so much right now that could be different but Lou is not keeping up with the game this year, he is still a manager of yesteryear. He shows no fire or intensity anymore, he just goes with the flow and we don't need that out of the manager. I really hope they do turn things around but until Lou lights a fire under peoples asses it isn't going to change. I say they already start for next year and "try" (which I know it's not gonna work) and dump as much salary as possible at the deadline.

They could score 20 runs with this lineup and Lou will go back to the old lineup tomorrow. He could trot this one out every time and average 10 runs a game and still go more with a lineup that can't produce at all.

Wow Milledge is stupid. Gets thrown out at third before the run crosses the plate so we get away with it.

That was almost as bad as earlier in the season when he thought he had hit a homer at PNC and started walking around the bases and then got tagged out.
