If Ventura ultimately tries out Thornton and Crain in the closing role to start this year, the Sox will dig themselves in another hole to start the year. Did Robin not watch last year's Sox struggle in April/May?

Sale had a nice outing yesterday against the Reds. Went 6 scoreless innings only giving up two hits. He's coming along really well.

Disagree with that. We seen the 9th innings from Matty. No thanks. Crain is a set-up guy too.
Look at LaTroy Hawkins as a closer..not very good.
Back to set-up where's more comfortable, he was excellent.
