Meh typical. I figured Iowa would drop a couple they shouldn’t. Like to Northwestern lol
I'm just glad it was to Purdue. I love telling my pops that he should know better than to pick against Purdue in his parlays any time they **** him up. And it honestly happens pretty often. He gets upset when I'm over here screamin boilerup when it's killing his card lol.

You just can’t win without a good offense and great QB play in college football. Iowa has neither

Pretty shitty scene here in Knoxville.
Even worse was the last play of the game by the backup QB Milton. The absolute biggest brain fart you could have at that moment, so bad it makes you wonder if he bet on ole miss

Yep. Let it go losers, Lane left 10+years ago. It was so long ago that Eric Berry played for Lane and has already retired from the NFL.
I agree. At the same time, it was expected…since it was kiffins first game back in Knoxville as a head coach

Yeah I can't say I'm surprised but Tennessee looks to have their coach finally. I really want to see them air it out vs UGA. How's recruiting? Who's coming back next year?

agreed. I do wish UT fans would get over some things in the past and start acting with some class and like a program that at least used to be top notch and one of class. Like you said, they have a coach now I think…focus on that, not one bad taste from over a decade ago

hooker is banged up, it’s why Milton was in the game at the end, making that dumb as **** last play of the game.

recruiting has been picking up some for UT, it was really slow initially under Heupel. But I think he will have no problem recruiting offensive players. Why wouldn’t you wanna play in that offense?! It’ll be interesting how they do defensively in recruiting…as we all know you gotta get the front seven players to match up in the SEC

they have most of the roster coming back next year. They are a really young team overall, as to be expected after losing all the talent they lost thru the transfer portal after Pruitt got fired

I’d love to seem em air it out on Georgia and pull off that upset…Georgia looks ridiculously tough though. They remind me of bama back in like the AJ McCarron years. Absolutely elite at every position except QB, but the QB protects the ball and makes the right reads. And only has to throw it like 15-20 times a game. They are stacked

Not a single play in that game was worse than what those idiot Tennessee fans did. Sorry. But there's no defending that.

Iowa was a fluke and everybody knew it. That's the dumb thing about polls. You keep winning and you move up while other teams lose and fall below you.

Does anybody with a brain think that just because Bama lost to A&M that somehow that make Iowa a better team and capable of staying within 4 TDs of Bama?

It was just a matter of time before Iowa lost. Ferentz does this about every 5 yearsish. He gets a team ranked pretty high then loses to a shitty team. We've seen this before. I'm just glad it happened again. I hate Iowa and their dipshit fans.

Put up with what? Is somebody going to try and say that Iowa wasn't a fluke and that they are better than Alabama? Hell, they aren't better than Cincinnati.

That's the thing I hate about polls. You keep winning and move up and automatically go ahead of teams with one loss. Bama would beat Iowa by at least 4 tds.

I don’t think anyone here will say that Iowa was actually the second best team in the country or better than Alabama.

And I am pretty sure HawkBear would be the first to say that. He actually said it before they got ranked that high.

They are a very good team but they’re not second best in all of CFB.

You are correct in that one major flaw in the polling system is that voters in the initial pole vote where they think a team ranks among the others and once the initial Paul has been released after that it’s move up if you win move down if you lose. The pollsters don’t sit down and say who do I really think it’s the best team in the second base and third-base etc. which is what they really should do.

True. My bad. Not necessarily him. Probably a good dude.

I used to live in a city that had a lot of Iowa fans. Big ten country. Iowa fans were some of the most obnoxious, dumbest fans around. Acting like they were some big time program, big name program. Have they won anything since the ice age? They were so obnoxious. Just left a bad taste in my mouth. Equal to minnesota goofers fans.
