Personally I'm kinda scared with all the secret stuff and excitement brewing today. I was told to prepare for sleeping in and actual chilling as opposed to the usual weekend chaos/preparing home for sale/weekly food prep/doing some extravagant excursion for the kiddos. Feeling like I wont be able to actually accept relaxation and not being in charge.

But all that aside this is a thread 4 the dads and ur fathers day experiences 2mow. Cool gifts? Dumb stuff u are doing? Surprises? Getting drunk and taking your grandchildren to the er after an incident with your pets?

This thread is 4 u.

I’m sleeping in and getting breakfast in bed. Told the kids I didn’t need anything except relaxation.

I have three under 9, all super active type A personalities. Youngest just turned 3 and I am not going to expect relaxation because I dont expect impossible things but I look forward to what they all have cooking lol

Lol I constantly think about food they will consume when older. 90% of what they eat right now is what we prepare from raw whole ingredients, pretty much what we parents eat. We will be making a lot of rice and beans to supplement when they become teenagers.

Hope your kids and wife are doing great @HeHateMe

For stories shit were to start. Both my boys are type Alpha In the last 2 months my youngest boy called a classmate a ***** cause she stole his pencil, slammed his baseball teammate in a trashcan for saying he wasnt a real hockey player, and he tried fighting a teenager at the pool for cutting him in line at the water slide at the pool. All this from a 7yr old.

10 yr old got suspended at the pool for shoving said teenager. Body checked another kid into a fence for not leaving his older sister alone. Asked if he could start boxing to help with his cardio in hockey. This kid is the freak of nature; already 5ft tall, hands bigger than his mom's, and a cinderblock for a head kid was wearing my hats.

I always tell them dont look for trouble l, but if trouble finds you stand up for yourself

@Ares would get a kick out of this. They both have their own axes to help clear our 2 acre property around our house we bought. They love cutting trees down

Nice. What wineries you visiting?

We'll be waking up in four short hours and driving to a nice destination for sunrise viewing. I told my wife I wanted a new tradition and I think catching a pretty sunrise on Father's Day might be a good one. She thinks I'm crazy but she's game. Where we're going is roughly 30 min. away to boot.

Once home, she promised me the greatest breakfast spread ever. As long as I get homemade hashbrowns with onion and garlic I'm happy.

Happy Fathers day, everyone!

Just dipping in to wish a happy father's day to you fellas.

Thank you to all of you dad's raising great kids and **** you to all of you dad's raising entitled brats.

Hope you have a great day filled with all the stereotypical "dad gifts" you can force a smile upon.

Go old school.
You and your bride eat.
Then the oldest to youngest.

If there is no food towards the youngest, oh well? Survival bro.
