Nice. What wineries you visiting?

We'll be waking up in four short hours and driving to a nice destination for sunrise viewing. I told my wife I wanted a new tradition and I think catching a pretty sunrise on Father's Day might be a good one. She thinks I'm crazy but she's game. Where we're going is roughly 30 min. away to boot.

Once home, she promised me the greatest breakfast spread ever. As long as I get homemade hashbrowns with onion and garlic I'm happy.

Happy Fathers day, everyone!

Sounds like a great day, enjoy!

As for wineries, none for me - we’ve spent so much time in Napa over the past couple decades, we only go to wineries when we have family or friends visiting who want to explore the tasting rooms. We have our own private stash of wine here so no need to hang with the tourists.

I got to schedule my perfect day today: start the morning with a French press, slam a cup and throw in the AirPods and have a quick puff before the morning run, this morning ran through a couple vineyards on my way North to Calistoga, then turned West where the fog was trying unsuccessfully to creep down through the pine trees onto the valley floor. A caffeine & THC buzz coupled with a Bowie mix tape happily got me halfway there before I started to get tired/pussy out, so changed to Zep beginning with Achilles Last Stand which charged me back up and I finished the loop.

Another cup of coffee then I joined Mrs. Racer in a yoga flow class which is boring AF but I get stiff from running and need a good stretch. Then brunch and pool time with the kids, late afternoon tennis to come, then gonna grill some branzino tonight along with a bottle of Chablis. Watch a movie and spend some bedtime with Mrs. Racer.

And that, for me, is a perfect day.

Hope your kids and wife are doing great @HeHateMe

For stories shit were to start. Both my boys are type Alpha In the last 2 months my youngest boy called a classmate a ***** cause she stole his pencil, slammed his baseball teammate in a trashcan for saying he wasnt a real hockey player, and he tried fighting a teenager at the pool for cutting him in line at the water slide at the pool. All this from a 7yr old.

10 yr old got suspended at the pool for shoving said teenager. Body checked another kid into a fence for not leaving his older sister alone. Asked if he could start boxing to help with his cardio in hockey. This kid is the freak of nature; already 5ft tall, hands bigger than his mom's, and a cinderblock for a head kid was wearing my hats.

I always tell them dont look for trouble l, but if trouble finds you stand up for yourself

@Ares would get a kick out of this. They both have their own axes to help clear our 2 acre property around our house we bought. They love cutting trees down

You may have a Bob Probert clone in your family.

Yesterday was my first. In-laws are in town so it was nice having reinforcements. Bern’s Steak House on Friday and the wife made biscuits and gravy for breakfast Sunday.

Can’t complain.
