LOL, Jon Morosi twitter:

Asked Justin Verlander about The Perfect Club: “Just can’t get in. Kate Upton’s just going to let (Humber) go right by now and stop me.”

a very weird stat.

You can't predict perfect games. Sometimes they just kind of happen, whether it's a shitty offense (Mariners) or a good one (Tampa Bay, I believe that was Buehrle's).

you still cant take away the accomplishment because of their offense right now. Still an MLB team that should have gotten someone on base.

Hey, a perfect game is a perfect game.

I'd think an even more perfect game would be 27 one-pitch groundouts to pitcher, or 81 pitch strikeouts all on missed swings  But that's never going to happen.

Hawks capped off Chicago's perfection BTW. Wolves don't count, Canucks suck.

A perfect game is always an accomplishment not matter what, nothing to take away from it. Same with a No-Hitter, I found it funny when people said Zambrano's wasn't impressive because it was at a neutral park.

Wrigley North is not a neutral park

Yeah I hate when people try to downplay a perfect game or no-hitter. That same crappy Mariners team will play 161 other games this season and guess what..that won't happen again!

exactly. There has been ALOT I mean ALOT of shitty hitting MLB teams in the history of the game and it has only happened 21 times.

Man what a well pitched game. I only saw the end but if you only do it in 96 pitches, then thats outstanding! Verlander would probably do it over 100 pitches
