COLE KMET vs JAYLINN HAWKINS
The unsung hero in the sudden rise of Justin Fields has been Cole Kmet finally making his presence felt as a receiver. His five touchdowns in three games is breathing new life into a stunted passing game, especially in the red zone. The Fields/Kmet connection growing stronger could not come at a better time as the Bears offense will play on the road against, arguably, the worst secondary in the NFC. Strong safety will probably draw the assignment of getting Kmet to cool off, but is allowing an astounding 107.2 passer rating against him...so Luke Getsy should be salivating over that matchup most of the afternoon.
JACK SANBORN/NICK MORROW vs TYLER ALLGEIER/CORDARRELLE PATTERSON
The new look linebacker duo had a good showing, keeping the Lions' offense under a 100 yards rushing after spending most of the season being run over by just about everyone. This week they will face an offense just as committed to running the ball as their own, so it should be another chance for this pair to grow together and help a dismal defensive line get off the field as soon as humanly possible.
LUKE GETSY vs ARTHUR SMITH
It's still much too early to try to define a "Luke Getsy Offense", but it sure looks a whole lot like what Arthur Smith has been doing with the Marcus Mariota led Falcon offense. When two ball control run orientated offenses meet, it's going to come down to which offense makes the least amount of mistakes. Smith has home field and a veteran signal caller, but Getsy has the hot hand in Justin Fields.
