COLE KMET vs JAYLINN HAWKINS

The unsung hero in the sudden rise of Justin Fields has been Cole Kmet finally making his presence felt as a receiver. His five touchdowns in three games is breathing new life into a stunted passing game, especially in the red zone. The Fields/Kmet connection growing stronger could not come at a better time as the Bears offense will play on the road against, arguably, the worst secondary in the NFC. Strong safety will probably draw the assignment of getting Kmet to cool off, but is allowing an astounding 107.2 passer rating against him...so Luke Getsy should be salivating over that matchup most of the afternoon.

JACK SANBORN/NICK MORROW vs TYLER ALLGEIER/CORDARRELLE PATTERSON

The new look linebacker duo had a good showing, keeping the Lions' offense under a 100 yards rushing after spending most of the season being run over by just about everyone. This week they will face an offense just as committed to running the ball as their own, so it should be another chance for this pair to grow together and help a dismal defensive line get off the field as soon as humanly possible.

LUKE GETSY vs ARTHUR SMITH

It's still much too early to try to define a "Luke Getsy Offense", but it sure looks a whole lot like what Arthur Smith has been doing with the Marcus Mariota led Falcon offense. When two ball control run orientated offenses meet, it's going to come down to which offense makes the least amount of mistakes. Smith has home field and a veteran signal caller, but Getsy has the hot hand in Justin Fields.

@Black Rainbow is famous for his ignore list right? he doesn't have the balls to actually ignore anyone cause he's a masochist psychopath. I even extended the crazy bastard a wellness check and he ducked me again.

I voted Falcons in support of Tankathon '22 but I think you could probably flip a coin on this one. The teams are pretty evenly matched in a lot of ways but Bears obviously have the qb edge. I'm thinking whichever DL can rise above mediocrity will take it. If Grady Jarrett has a big day the Bears can keep the tanking dream alive.

3 win team vs 4 win team?? it's a battle for draft position boyz.

btw, the 2022 Bears are . . .
1-6 in the conference
0-3 vs division opponents.

TANK!

Qb rushing numbers vs the Falcons this season
23 attempts for 89 yards
Winston 2 for 9
Stafford no attempts (pussy)
Smith 2 for -1
Brissett 5 for 16
Brady 3 for -3
Garoppolo 3 for 11
Burrow 3 for 20
Walker 1 for 20
Herbert 1 for 3
Walker 3 for 14

The O/U on Fields rushing yards on DraftKings is 68.5
Passing is 176.5

Falcons have zero pass rush and are dead last vs the pass. Im throwing $100 on Fields hitting 200 yards tmw.
@Grimson @Clintk55 what you successful bettors thinking?

If I was even slightly into gambling, I'd take the over on both.

The Carolina Panthers curse is real.
Week one played Browns, who lost week 2.
Week two played Giants, who lost in week 3.
Week three played the Saints, who lost in week 4.
Week four played Arizona, who lost in week 5.
Week five played the Niners, who lost week 6.
Week Six played the Rams, who had a bye in Week 7, but lost their next game in week 8.
Week seven played Tampa Bay, who lost week 8.
Week eight played Atlanta, who lost week 9.
Week nine played Cincinnati, who had a bye in week 10.
Week ten played Atlanta....

If the curse lives on, the Bears and Steelers win today.

I say they should continue involving Kmet in the passing game. He is going to be a gem.

If we just had five Mini-Ditkas on da O-line, we'd hang a C-note on dese guys.

Are the Falcons good this year? I have no idea what is going on with this team other than a vague sense of a dumpster fire the last couple seasons.

A lot like the Bears tbh. They seem to play a lot better than people expected and have been in every game, even beating three winning teams. Like the Bears, they beat the Niners.

Velus Jones active, finally. Will he see any reps out of the backfield today is my question. I hope that answer is yes.

I hope they've figured out that this isn't the season to pick up scrap-heap type guys (Pettis) and play them over your explosive potential playmakers you've invested significant draft capital in (VJJ).

Brad Biggs just tweeted Jenkins isn't in with the starters. If they seriously gave Schofield the job over him, and it has nothing to do with injury, I'm going to lose my shit.
