We thought that the 49ers game was hard to judge Fields on because of the weather... well this game he attempts 11 passes. In normal conditions is a game where the Bears were losing. What the ****.

The lose is not on Fields. But what can we even draw from this?

The staff does not trust our QB to pass the ball.

It stings always losing to the Packers. Especially watching Rodgers carve them up. But there are going to be these growing pains with the young guys. It was good to see them have success on the ground (a lot of teams will against the Packers) but it would have been nice to see more in the passing game.

They were a cut or call from 24-17 late in GB with far less talent on both sides of the ball.

Great night? Certainly not. No argument there.

Terrible coaching? Ridiculous.

What happened though is the Packers sustained drives in the 1st half while the Bears went 3 and out 3 straight drives. And every time the Bears did get a drive going, they had success on the ground. And there were some sacks and some scrambles by Fields. So some designed pass plays that ended up runs. The pocket presence Fields has demonstrated is concerning to say the least. But we have not seen nearly enough of it to say anything either way yet.

Poor coaching. Lack of explosive talent. No DT currently on the roster. Fields has a lot to learn and to take the short stuff instead of looking for big plays.
Good run blocking.

**** this fucking team. NFL bending over backwards so the idiot McCaskeys can retain ownership. **** those assholes who've done nothing in 50 fucking years. Get a real God damn owner who knows how to actually own a fucking football team.
What the hell does this even mean?

Even if that is true that is on the staff. We are in year 1 and not winning shit this year. Let him throw.
Honestly though, it was another weird game. Like we are down 24-10 with the entire 4th quarter to go and we are shredding them on the ground so I can't fault them for sticking with it. Just sucks though that we didn't get to see him throw it more.

Getsy needs to figure out how to make the run game work for the pass game though. At this point, it's like we should abandon the shot gun altogether. The line has shown it's considerably better at run blocking, not so much pas blocking in obvious situations. Use the run game and the threat of Fields' legs to set up the pass, and not just when it's obvious.

Lots of new players and coaches though, and we knew this team wasn't going anywhere to start. I'm not all too surprised with the outcome. The team played hard, hung in there when they probably had not business being in it. So there's some minimal positives to take.

There's been multiple articles on how the NFL has been changing the rules so the OG families can retain ownership, most specifically the Chicago Bears. It's no secret the Bears have maybe the worst ownership in all of Football. Sell the damn team to an owner that actually knows football. The Bears literally built the NFL and they are an embarrassment of a franchise at this point.

We hire shit coaches and shit leadership who make shit decisions left and right. **** man...shotgun on 4th and inches..give me a break. Football 101...RUN THE GOD DAMN BALL UNDER CENTER....NOT FROM 5 FUCKING YARDS BEHIND THE LOS.

We've been bitching about growing pains since the 80s. At some point we need to win consistently and not make dumbass coaching decisions.

The goofs are trying to win games. **** that. Develop your young players....let them learn. Together. No young QB will learn his craft handing the ball off 40 times a game.

Anyone see Tua throw 6TD? Ask yourself what is different. You can’t just draft a qb and expect offense.
Trubisky once threw 6 TD in a game, just saying.
