BRAXTON JONES vs MATTHEW JUDON

After a promising start to his young NFL career, Jones is being exposed as the late round rookie he is. Montez Sweat bullied him all night on his home field and now faces another rough matchup in Matthew Judon. With already six sacks on the season and an outstanding 20 pressures in his last four games, Judon is the driving force of the New England pass rush. Another prime time game, now in hostile territory, against another fierce pass rusher spells out doom for the struggling rookie tackle on paper. Can Jones turn it around with the extra rest or is it going to be another frustrating night for another frustrated Chicago quarterback?

NICHOLAS MORROW vs HUNTER HENRY

The biggest surprise in New England this season has been rookie QB Bailey Zappe finding early success filling in for the injured Mac Jones. One of the biggest changes under Zappe is the sudden emergence of getting the tight ends involved in the passing attack. The talented Henry started his season slow, but has caught eight passes for 115 yards and a score in the last two weeks. The Pats will look to keep that trend going with a nice matchup on Bears linebacker Nicholas Morrow, who has struggled in pass coverage the past few weeks. Does Morrow step his coverage game up or will the Pats be able to attack the middle of the field with ease?

LUKE GETSY vs BILL BELICHICK

There is no bigger nightmare of a matchup for a rookie playcaller with a young struggling quarterback than going against the best tactician in the NFL, Bill Belichick. No coach is better at attacking every single weakness while eliminating your greatest strengths. If Getsy can even keep this game competitive, it will be a huge win without getting the win. Or can Getsy do the seemingly impossible and help the Bears get their first win against the Patriots since the 2000 season?

Bears to harrow CCS like Clarence Darrow in a wheel barrow with a loss however narrow, I've read it in the tarot

Should be easy win as Zappe is only his like 3rd game and it takes 2-3 years for QB's to develop. Although, Patriots have amazing playmakers.

According to the sports media Mac Jones is the unquestioned starter and supposedly available on Monday. I could see Bill "gamesmanship" Belichick let the Bears prepare for Jones then make a game time decision to start Zappe though.

I still think this game is a coin toss. I don't think we win, but who knows.

This could be a close game. IDK, they have a shot IMO. Bears 20, Patriots 17?

I fully expect this to be the worst performance of the season for the Bears. Belichick vs a young QB with very limited weapons spells disaster.

4 out of 6 games the typical Bears have scored at least 9 points before halftime.
