CHICAGO BEARS ON OFFENSE

Fresh off of gving up a historic amount of points to the Miami offense, the Bronco defense seemed to be just what stuggling quarterback, Justin Fields, needed to get back on track. Sure the fourth quarter got a little ugly as his defense slowly surrendered a 21 point lead, but it was a performance that Fields and the Bear offense can build on. At least that is the hope. The Commanders defense under Jack Del Rio has certainly been beatable so far this season. Snce holding the Cardinals to 16 in the season opener, Washington has allowed at least 33 points in every game. The Commanders are also the first team on the 2022 Bear schedule that Luke Getsy really started embracing Justin Fields rushing abilities. Can the offense revert back to the first three quarters of Sunday's game or will the fourth quarter collapse carry over into Prime Time?

CHICAGO BEARS ON DEFENSE

The vaunted Chicago Bear defense double their sack total against the Broncos bumping them up to an astoundingly bad two sacks on the season and have pressured opposing quarterbacks on a meger 22% of dropbacks, which ranks dead last in the league. Now the Bears pull a Commanders team that has given up a league leading 24 sacks in just four games. Washington's QB does boast some rushing skills the defense will have to watch out for, but if there ever was a matchup for Chicago's DL to finally get going...it's against this offense on a short week. If the Bears cannot get multiple sacks in DC, they may as well leave Matt Eberflus there.

links don't work

The links were given the option of staying home this week..that is...they were told to stay home but not by me because it's @Rush that handles that kind of stuff so they can stay home if some moves are made not that we are making any moves with the links and again I don't handle the moving of links I just coach the links which involves no decision making on my part of the links or any part of the internet but at the end of the day we have to be ready on Sundays to get the links ready unless you were told to stay home by @Rush because we don't need links this week or just that specific link.

I am sorry...what was the question again???

Hopefully Getsy has prepared the O for the likely scenario that WAS drops 6-7 into coverage every play and still gets a ton of pressure with their talented front 4/occasional 5.

Poll should have been what will be more entertaining - the Thursday game or the Friday fallout?

Honest question - why does this defense not blitz more?

If Flus dials it up tonight to finally have consistent pressure, then I'd believe we can put together a win.

Mike Martz could have called a better offense in the second half of the last game, and we'd be at an ugly 1-3. The same goes for Ron goddamn Turner. It is absurd how Getsy follows good playcalls that work with head scratchers for the same of keeping things fresh.

If Getsy actually gets his act together, then I'd believe that this team can score 40 points.

The WAS defensive front could wreak havoc on the Bears offense, but WAS isn't a great team either. This could get ugly with a Bears loss but this is definitely a winnable game for CHI.

Honestly, I might be kinda bummed if CHI wins (which means that's what is gonna happen lol)

I'm fully assuming the team is going to take a collective personal day now that Dick died. Commies by a billion.

I kind of figured it was a given that the internet's reaction to Bears games have been more entertaining than 98.9% of the actual Bears games for a decade or so now.
