CHICAGO BEARS ON OFFENSE
Fresh off of gving up a historic amount of points to the Miami offense, the Bronco defense seemed to be just what stuggling quarterback, Justin Fields, needed to get back on track. Sure the fourth quarter got a little ugly as his defense slowly surrendered a 21 point lead, but it was a performance that Fields and the Bear offense can build on. At least that is the hope. The Commanders defense under Jack Del Rio has certainly been beatable so far this season. Snce holding the Cardinals to 16 in the season opener, Washington has allowed at least 33 points in every game. The Commanders are also the first team on the 2022 Bear schedule that Luke Getsy really started embracing Justin Fields rushing abilities. Can the offense revert back to the first three quarters of Sunday's game or will the fourth quarter collapse carry over into Prime Time?
CHICAGO BEARS ON DEFENSE
The vaunted Chicago Bear defense double their sack total against the Broncos bumping them up to an astoundingly bad two sacks on the season and have pressured opposing quarterbacks on a meger 22% of dropbacks, which ranks dead last in the league. Now the Bears pull a Commanders team that has given up a league leading 24 sacks in just four games. Washington's QB does boast some rushing skills the defense will have to watch out for, but if there ever was a matchup for Chicago's DL to finally get going...it's against this offense on a short week. If the Bears cannot get multiple sacks in DC, they may as well leave Matt Eberflus there.
