MATT NAGY vs DAN QUINN

This will be the first meeting of these two coaches who could not be more different outside of their haircuts. Nagy the former QB coming up under offensive guru Andy Reid and Quinn the former QB killer coming up under defensive guru Gus Bradley. Who can get the better of who? A fast start was an emphasis for Nagy last week, as he orchestrated a 12 play, 82 yard touchdown drive on the Bears opening possession. The problem was the Bears couldn’t maintain it. In the second half, they were held scoreless and were bailed out by the defense. If the Bears have any hope of beating the Falcons, their offense is going to need to put up more than 17 points and they’re going to need to do it sooner than the fourth quarter. Nagy's offense needs to put together four quarters of solid football. That means not only getting off to a fast start, but keeping the foot on the gas against Quinn's struggling defense.

ROBERT QUINN vs JAKE MATTHEWS

After missing the first game, newly signed free agent Robert Quinn stepped on the field and strip-sacked the Giants young QB. That set the tone for a new look Bear pass rush that would add three more sacks that day from three different players. Matthews sustained a knee injury in Week 1, but has been playing through it. Can Quinn take advantage and set the tone for the second week in a row?

JAYLON JOHNSON vs CALVIN RIDLEY

The Bears' second round draft pick has been impressive in his first two starts in the NFL. He has only allowed three catches on seven targets for 55 yards with five pass breakups. Going with the assumption that Pro Bowl cornerback Kyle Fuller will be shadowing future HOF receiver Julio Jones, that leaves the rookie DB facing the red hot receiving talent in Calvin Ridley. In Ridley's first two starts this year, he has an astounding 16 catches for 239 yards and four TDs. Can Ridley keep his season hot or is the emerging defensive back the kind of talent that can cool him off?

GET THEM CHEAP ASS CASES OF 40OZ. AND 20/20's IN THE FRIDGE BOYS! Win or Lose, It's gonna be ugly.
I'm ready for sucker punches incoming from the refs, by the dozen! multiple missed holdings calls for our defense, IN-CASE you didn't know you can choke hold Mack and power dive Montgomery in a headlock, head first into the turf as a bonus!! Roquan will sack strip Matt Ryan and then gets ejected for Matt's icy meltdown, a couple of live plays blown dead and interceptions will soon be illegal for the Bears! Matt Ryan is going to pick on Jaylon with them deep throws for bogus calls to go against JJ to really piss us off.
Highlight will be Nagy removing his mask again to spit some major bars like a dirty naughty rotten rhymer at the refs, All that, while Mitchell plays catch up, carving up the Falcons without single person giving him the benefit of doubt, dueling against a QB stacked with weapons, really good weapons btw... and a QB who recently claims he's the best in the NFC like he don't know who Aaron Rodgers and his protégé Mitchell Trubisky is...

The Falcons are going to score 20+ pts . Can the offense keep up?

It’s going to take a complete game by the offense to win this game.

this will be an interesting game for Mitch

he now has 2 weeks of tape showing positive results when he is aggressive and problems when he gets hesitant

this will be a week to see if he can learn and build off that and keep decreasing puss Mitch time or whether that's just who he is

After consulting with my experts, I have come to the conclusion that the Bears will not be winning this football game.

Mitch Trubisky: 21-34, 245 yards, 3TDs, 1INT, 5 rushes, 29 yards.
David Montgomery: 17 carries, 74 yards, 2 receptions, 19 yards.
Allen Robinson: 7 receptions, 93 yards, 1TD.

Bears 27
Falcons 23

- At first I was feeling confident that this would be a Bears' loss, now that Julio is unlikely play, and with Aj Terrell out due to covid, I switched the pick.
- I think Mitch and the offense benefits from the falcons missing a starting CB and being banged up (they got torn apart through the air even when fully healthy).
- Julio being out/slowed will have an impact on the Falcons offense, and so will Robert Quinn who's getting back up to full speed.
- Falcons still find success, but the bend they'll Bears' D more often than they break it.

I think the defense puts together a full game, offense is typical. ? score on D at least once. Big game for Mack and company.

Gale Sayers only needed 18 inches. Our D only needs 21-28 pts on offense and we win. Book it. ;)
