Why the hell isn't Jenkins in there at RG? Hasn't he been consistantly ranked as one of our better linemen this year and Patrick as one of the worst? Christ, I have seen Patrick blown back on at least 3 plays already.

Lining up and running it up the middle is fine. It wasn’t necessarily a bad call, but it’s just a fact that on those goal line plays, there’s statistically outsized success in getting your players outside of the tackle box and creating options, whether it ultimately is a run or pass play.

Those big beefs on the d-line can’t move that far laterally that quickly. Wish we’d see more playcallers take advantage of that, not just Bears.
