Fields is playing like a man with a tough injury on his throwing hand. Seriously guys, we cant expect him to be throwing the way we have been hoping he would start to. So the progress he is making has to come from other spots.

After this game, for better or worse, we are going to have to talk about him as a passer without bringing up his stats as a thrower. I know it pains us all, but the box score is not going to tell us shit about how Fields responded to the challenge this week.
I mean, he looks alright. Maybe slightly rusty, but better than I expected.

Typical Everlose to play for the 3, but field goals won’t win this game. Nor Justin an endorsement from the shoopster. As usual, Fields does some nice things between the 20s, but can’t close. Per Glengary GlenRoss, “You wanna work here? Close . . . “ . . .

Defense looks pretty good. Offense looks like it's playing for their jobs. Which except for a few, they are.

I think he's played pretty admirably to be honest. He's looked much more comfortable than he normally does. He's thrown like 3 wobblers, but with a thumb injury I'd expect that.

Briliant kick off by Santos. Major rope-a-dope.
