GREEN BAY OL vs. CHICAGO DL

Late breaking news out of Green Bay is that star left tackle David Bakhtiari tore his ACL in practice. A four-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler, Bakhtiari had not allowed a sack all season. This will restart yet another rotation on the OL for the Pack. When Bakhtiari missed three games at midseason due to a broken rib, Billy Turner shifted from right tackle to left tackle and Rick Wagner stepped in at right tackle. The Packers also could shift left guard Elgton Jenkins over to left tackle. When Wagner went down at San Francisco, Turner went from left tackle to right tackle, Jenkins shifted to left tackle and rookie Jon Runyan entered at left guard. It's going to be difficult to say what that line will look like, but a Chicago defensive line that has been playing well in December will hope the chaos works in their favor. In their last meeting, the Packers offense scored early and often because they owned the line of scrimmage...does that change drastically in the pivotal rematch?

DAVANTE ADAMS vs. KYLE FULLER

Adams has been virtually unstoppable all year. Coming off an eleven catch, three score game against the Tennessee Titans...Adams will be extra motivated this week as he is, once again, in reaching distance of the Packers' franchise record for most receptions in a season. He fell one catch shy of the record in 2018 and currently only needs three to tie and four to set a new record. Enter Bears star DB Kyle Fuller. While Adams did have six catches in their last meeting, that game was over before it started and the Bears are now playing for their post season lives. Can Fuller play spoiler or will another Packer have another record breaking performance at "Lambeau South"?

ZA'DARIUS SMITH vs. CHARLES LENO

To the surprise of literally everyone, the Bears' late season surge has been riding on the back of their offense. David Montgomery has had the best five game streak of his career, but it's the sudden reemergence of Mitchell Trubisky that has heads turning. Trubisky appears to be playing with the kind of confidence that has been lacking since the Bears' 2018 NFC North Title Season. A big part of that has been a clean jersey. Smith and the also resurgent Packer defense could pose a steep challenge for an offense that has not been challenged much at all since their return from the Bye Week. Leno is typically better in pass protection than run blocking, but Smith had the strip-sack on Mitchell Trubisky which resulted in a Packers TD return to turn the game into a rout before halftime. Can Leno keep Smith away from his QB to give his team a post season berth?

Since returning from their Week 11 Bye, the Chicago Bear offense is fourth in points scored (165), fourth in rushing touchdowns (9) and fifth in rushing yards (757). Also since reclaiming his starting position the same week, Bear quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has led his offense to score more than 28 points in the last four consecutive games. Prior to that, Trubisky had only led an offense to more than 28 points in four games over his entire career (45 starts).

The Packers usually have fast starts and the bears usually start slow. I feel like we'll find out how this game is going to go early.
