All-22 last week showed lots of WRs open, and Fields unwilling to pull the trigger. He’s gun-shy.
I really think with a quarterback like this, you have to let him sling it and don’t worry about the INTs. Keep growing and learning, and eventually if you’re worth a damn, that TD-INT ratio starts to turn.
But it takes coaches willing to let their young quarterback take risks and make mistakes, which it doesn’t seem like the Bears want to do.

There’s so much to unpack and blast them for but signing a defensive coach was Special person!!!!
I understand we don’t have much talent but this is embarrassing!
I don’t want them to try winning with some old fucking style of offense that is more fixated on killing the overall clock so that we have close games—- it’s a losers mentality
Seems to be focus is “let’s make less mistakes and penalties vs other teams” approach!
That again is for losers! It builds a losers mentality and should just be a given.
Try and play modern football and if you’re not good at it, so be it but at least you’re practicing for the future!
We will have the nfl’s best rushing attack only bc we run 50 times a game, pretty good running back(now, further proof running the ball is stupid) pretty good run blockers, a great running qb that does so on half of his drop backs either bc they can’t pass block or bc wr’s suck, fields stinks as a qb!
All that and we will still be dead last in the nfl on offense and probably dead last or close to scoring!
The entire setup from day 1 is a losers mentality, the qb looks kissed and disinterested, GM made or had no chance of landing any offensive talent, and then his two first picks were for defense and that message alone probably kissed fields and rest of the team off!
First pick Gordon is getting smoked- just stopped running against that bomb- wtf??
Brisker is good but he’s a safety- one of the least important positions on the team.
We have a fifth round pick playing lt and he’s got talent but gets pushed back every time on pass pro- probably a win in stat book but it collapses the pocket.
We are rotating our center with the absolute best player on offense in Jenkins which makes zero fucking sense especially since Patrick is average at best at guard!! He too gets pushed back often on pass pro!
Borom is good at run blocking but he too gets bill rushed back into pocket very often.
Fields should literally look to pass and then run of first guy isn’t open every time. It would tire the shit out of defense.
We run on third down almost every time! What does that tell your team and QB??
Coach doesn’t take a timeout at end of half to possibly send th right message??? Wtf is that for a losers mentality???
Fuck, I would have went for it on 4th down on first drive! FG’s are for losers too!!!
I could go on and on and on!
