JAYLON JOHNSON vs JUSTIN JEFFERSON

Second year receiver Justin Jefferson is quickly becoming a NFL Superstar at the position, ranking second in the league in receiving yards. His career total is now 2,688 receiving yards. He needs 39 yards to pass Randy Moss for the most by a Viking in his first two NFL seasons and 68 yards to break the NFL record of 2,755 set by Odell Beckham, Jr., in his first two seasons. With 16 catches for 239 yards in his debut matchups with Chicago last season, the Bears have not done much to stop that ascent. Maybe that starts with a stronger dose of second year cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who did well against Davante Adams on Sunday Night, forcing Green Bay to move Adams around their lineup to avoid the matchup. The Vikings could do the same, but when they are matched up against each other it should be a clash of two young titans in the league.

DALVIN COOK vs CHICAGO DEFENSE

In his first four matchups against the Bears, Dalvin Cook was down right miserable. 182 yards on 64 carries for 2.8 ypc and only a single trip the endzone. That all changed in their final matchup of 2020, when Cook broke loose for 132 yards and finally found the endzone for a second time. Almost one year later the Bears get another shot at Cook, who is coming off a monster performance against the Steelers. Can the Bears get back making Cook irrelevant or have those tides turned for good?

MATT NAGY vs MIKE ZIMMER

There may not be two hotter seats in all of the NFL coaching ranks than Zimmer and Nagy’s right now. On Monday night, the two will meet in front of a national audience. This will be the first of two matchups between the Chicago Bears and Vikings over the final four weeks. Minnesota is still vying for a postseason berth. Chicago is spiraling to the finish line in the kind of fashion that gets a lot of people fired. Nagy has only lost once to Zimmer's Vikings, but he no longer has a top defense backing him up and an offense that seems pretty well stuck in "disaster". With both men's jobs very well on the line after this game...who makes a case for another week of gainful employment?
