What do you call it? More importantly, what is correct?

On one hand, this is the room where players get DRESSED for games.

On the other hand, this is the room filled with lockers. Except these NFL rooms don't have LOCKERS with LOCKS... they're more like cubby holes or some shiz.

At least we can all agree that this place, where players spend just a few minutes before and after games, is where cancer gets spread and ruins a team.

Place your vote! Explain your reasoning!

Pic for reference.

Players undress in locker rooms as well. Should we call it a undressing room?

Most people get dressed in their bed rooms. Note that it's still called a "bed room".

Yes, because it contains a bed. Do you see any lockers in the pic I posted? Nah.

So why would it be called a locker room?

I see a lot of unsecure lockers. But lockers they are nonetheless.

lock·er
ˈläkər/Submit
noun
plural noun: lockers
1.
a small lockable closet or compartment, typically as one of a number placed together for public or general use, e.g., in schools, gymnasiums, or train stations.
2.
a device that locks something.

Soooo, yeah. "Unsecured lockers" would be a contradiction. You're welcome to try again though! Happy friday! :)
