Major League Soccer and NBC Sports on Thursday will announce a new three-year agreement to televise 45 league matches and 4 United States national team games on the main network and on the NBC Sports Network, which will be the new name of the current cable station Versus. The deal will end the league’s relationship with Fox Soccer, which recently signed a one-year deal to carry matches in 2011.
Yuck MLS on NBC. Should get the EPL or La Liga on there
MLS blows...i hope it flops on NBC
:angryfinger:
So now we'd rather not have a league at all in the US rather than try to grow it into a better league?
if it grows into a better league then great...right now it blows and there should be better options for nbc to bring on
By flops did you mean have the contract terminated, or fold?
I took it to mean that you wanted the MLS to fold?
no...i want their partnership with nbc to end....unfortunately nobody will watch it
and maybe "blows: is the wrong word....
mls is developing
WFHs will watch it:yep:
HARRISON, N.J. -- The New York Red Bulls acquired midfielder Stephane Auvray in a trade from Sporting Kansas City.
The Red Bulls traded away their second-round pick in the 2013 MLS draft.
Auvray is expected to help New York contend for the league playoffs by shoring up the Red Bulls' midfield defense. The captain of Guadeloupe's national team, Auvray has only made six appearances for Sporting KC this season.
He is expected to be available for coach Hans Backe in Saturday's game against the Chicago Fire.
