Screw it, it doesn't matter anymore. Heat won because they have 3 of the best players in the league. No other team in the NBA can say that. Now NY's going to get CP3 to get their big 3, Lakers might get Howard (Kobe and Howard is worth 3 people), and we're stuck with just DRose. Now I love DRose to death, but he cannot win by himself. Not even Jordan could. We need to get this guy some help so that his career will not be Karl Malone'd.

And people wonder why Lebron was so eager to leave Cleveland..a city no one wanted to come to.

Yeah, Stern probably isn't going to allow that. Bosh probably won't be back with the Heat whenever the next season starts.

I never questioned why he wanted to leave. I thought it would've been good for his appearance to have stayed. I also thought that his best chances of winning were here in Chicago, but I have been proved wrong. You can really have it all I guess (except fan approval in this case).

Well no matter where they went 29 other cities would be pissed. Whatever.

How are the Bulls "stuck?" They have 2 low draft picks this year, not great, but you never know about finding serviceable players late.

Miami is stuck with their roster. They have 0 draft picks for 2 or 3 years now.

The Bulls still have the Charlotte lottery pick too. I don't understand why the Bulls are "stuck" with Derrick Rose.

Drafts were way deeper then though with a lot more guys staying longer in school.

Pippen was a 5th overall pick, and Rodman was the 27th.

Thank you sir. I was incorrect. I heard somewhere that he was 30 something pick.

Good catch.

5th overall to the Sonics right?
I believe so. I think Oakley was traded for that pic, but I could be wrong about that.

EDIT: Traded for Olden Polynice. Oakley was traded to the Knicks for Cartwright.

EDIT #2: I think at the time of Rodman there were only 28 teams in the league, so he was a borderline first/second rounder.

They are stuck because Pippen and Rodman were not 2nd round picks (actually maybe Rodman was, don't remember, so I'll give that to you). Maybe you're thinking of Manu Ginobili who was a freaking steal. I doubt we're getting a Manu Ginobili as the chances of getting a player like that are one in a million. That and with the MLE the Heat are just going to get more and more ring chasers and they won't be old like big Z and Dampier. They'll be younger guys, better guys. We'll be stuck with the leftovers.

Rodman was the 27th overall in the 2nd round.

The MLE may be gone with the new CBA.

Aren't "ring chasers" generally old?

The Bulls can make trades and can get better. Will they is the question.

Again, I concede Rodman to you.

True, but that handicaps us even more because then we are forced to make trades which I don't have all the confidence that we will to get players good enough.

Yes they are, but there's no reason that some guy will bolt down there to party with Lebron and Wade and win a few rings in the process.

Yeah, I double checked that and edited it as such.

For those wondering, Ginobili was the second to last pick in the 1999 draft.

Freaking best steal I have seen in my lifetime...we need the guy who scouts for the Spurs. xD

the two-year off-season is pretty straight forward imo...Howard or Bust.

Unless we can get someone like Iggy or something (again, not a 3pt shooter, but kind of a poor man's DWade) and Rose takes another giant leap (he is only 22 and sky's still the limit if he puts in the work, and I trust he will). I'll take the never happening pipedream lineup of Rose, Iggy, Deng, Noah/Boozer, Howard. Or the literally impossible team of that + half of the bench mob. xD

Last two games...

Now, yes I agree both teams had their fair share of calls, but a few things I haven't seen mentioned. I want to know why Miami had far more free throws throughout the series... Acting jobs that the officials were to stupid to see? My main thing is the last two games where (2) flagrant calls ended up losing the game for the Bulls, one in each game. Hard fouls are not flagrant because it's on one of your star players. Two years ago a guy got his tooth knocked out and that was just a foul. Grow a pair Miami, mainly James, and play the game like it's meant to be played.

It's not as though the Bulls didn't get some bad theirs in their favor. The Heat acted for a couple but they are much better at drawing contact than the players on the Bulls. It may be hard to accept, but the Heat are the better team.
