Eh, that seems a bit harsh to me on a couple of them

1. Injuries obviously huge. Hard to win when you get down to your 4th string qb...I mean, he was 4th string for a reason.
2. Absolutely. The line play is soo huge
3. I don't think Burrow is overrated. Again, I think injuries played a part here both to the line in front of him and then they started losing key receivers too. He kept them in that game all the way to the end.
4. Agree
5. Unfortunately, agree
Burrow had his chances and missed them. The blocking wasn’t great but on the second interception, he had a wide open first down on the other side of the field. Never even looked that way. Burrow could have put the Rams away last year and had 5 drives with no points.

Shanahan missed the memo on challenging questionable plays. Devonta couldn’t have made that more obvious. But regardless of Devonta, most coaches will tell you to challenge plays like that. It’s common sense, would you rather lose a timeout or give up a 1st & goal in a CCG? Analytics guys were going crazy about his non-challenge. (Niners were done once Purdy went down but that’s another thing)

Well, put that way, yeah you can win any number of ways. Having elite skill players would certainly make it easier.
Just having 1 elite player changes the chessboard. Rams only had 1 elite skill player last year and he was unstoppable in the SB. (OBJ was not elite last year)

What I got out of today is;

1. Shanahan still doesn’t have a clue in the postseason.
2. Dominant OL & DL play was the difference
3. Burrow is vastly overrated, has yet to throw a TD in the 4th quarter in the postseason.
4. You need elite skill position playmakers
5. Bears have very few building blocks compared to these teams lol
Agree with2, 4, and 5. Shanahan will get their, maybe with Brady next year. LOL
Would say Burrow carries his team more than Mahomes carries the Chiefs. That's not to say Mahomes isn't elite, just to say Burrow needs do more with less to keep his team at that high level.

Lol wut?
Burrow has more talent to work with than Mahomes does and Mahomes will win a MVP too.

How many more excuses will Shanny get?

Lol. No. Burrow has better skill position players and a better defense. KC has a better OL but that is because Bengals decided to go for Chase over an OL and potentially will spend 50-60 million on WRs despite having a franchise QB.

Not the kind of talent a QB needs. KC has big edge in both coaching and o-line protection and just better overall team culture.

Shanny's a great coach. His time will come. How long did it take for Reid?

Kelce is a special weapon. O-line rock solid. Plus what I said above.

Just an observation and how it seems to bode well for the Bears going forward.

Philly has been the #1 team all year and Jalen Hurts with his terrific supporting cast has been the great reclamation story.

I did not see Jalen Hurts make one single throw today that was a throw Justin Fields can't make. His best was the high throw that Devonta Smith didn't really catch.

He missed a wide open Brown by two yards at one point that would have been a sure TD had it been thrown better, and for the most part, al day, they simply ran RPOs.

Fields is capable of doing everything Hurts did today.

You mean beating a team that couldn't throw a pass for over a half of the game?

I believe that plot point can be found on page 506 of the season long script. Next up is the final chapter! Can’t wait to see what the NFL writers have in store for us now!
