That they are both really good Guards in the NFL? 😏
Difference is Thuney played all across the line in college and didn’t have a sky scraper stance. Campbell has only played LT and will have to learn the position and adjust his stance when he moves to guard. Can he do it? Sure, maybe….can he do it at a high level, though? Who knows? And drafting an OG that high when they never even played the position before is in my humble opinion, dumb as ****.

Hes not wrong. Anyone calling banks elite isn't paying attention to the whole picture
I’m sure there are some people saying elite but from my perspective he just simply seems stronger than connerly, better measurables than Campbell, yet projecting worse than membou. Being LT 2 or 3 in this draft certainly doesn’t mean he is elite

@DaaBears tell us about Jacob Parrish

Sorry, just seeing this now. Parrish is very steady and athletic, and a strong tackler in my opinion. I don't think he'll ever be a top corner, but probably great in the nickle. I do however see him as a great pick middle/late round, I think 3rd is early.

Better yet, tell us about Giddens because that's the only player I care about on KSU for 2025 draft purposes. Parrish is good but if bears pick a cb in the first 3 rounds, I won't be thrilled

Giddens has phenomenal vision, always gets extra yards, and actually does have breakaway speed. Also down by the goal line, he gets in every time, at least he seemed to in college. I would LOVE to have him on the Bears.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Ersery is one of those guys Howie Roseman will trade into the second round for and turn into a high level player within they're system because he can sit behind Mailata and Johnson and be the heir apparent to Johnson.
Someone will want back into the first and they'll pick up a 4th round guy who will be a quality backup for them and get Ersery.

Some day the Bears will be deep enough they too can trade back and they'll have a competent enough GM to not completely wiff on a mid round pick they gain in the process.

If they dont take an OT at #10 and take someone like jackson, I'd anticipate the "break glass if needed" plan at LT is Joe Thuney while putting the rookie at LG.
There is no way they acquired Thuney to play him where he stunk.

Roseman is one of the best for sure, but it’s not like he bats .1000

The best GMs miss on mid round (and higher) picks all the time.

So he will turn their first into a guy who sits and you’re making that a criticism of our GM?

Yes it is possible because they got the roster to the sufficient point of depth.

Should the Bears be there in three years from where they started ?

No they don’t. Especially premium 3rd round picks. Good GM’s hit on those almost all the time. Would say at least 96% of the time.

Of course he doesn't bat 1000 thousand but he's built that team up year over year instead of pitching a fit and getting rid of quality players that were actually on the roster.

You know Monty Daniels Mooney Smith RRH etc.
