4 is the highest it makes sense for the Bears to trade up as it would only cost one of the 2nd round picks. I would only consider going that high for Hunter or Carter.

Personally though I would only go as far as 6 as that should only require our 3rd. And that would only be for Hunter, Carter or Graham.

I’d take Banks Jr., JT, and Judkins all day long instead of just Carter.
I’d be interested in a trade up for Carter but NYG could gag on it if they want both 2nds.

10, 39, and a future pick is the most I’d go…maybe 26 3rd

You think the trenches are good enough?

LT needs a long term answer. Edge needs at minimum more depth and realistically a quality pass rusher. DT needs more depth and some youth. IOL needs depth.

I think there is only 1 person on this board who does not see things the way you and the rest of us are seeing it. The trenches are FAR from being a finished product. This is a great draft to address these needs.

This. Carter would be great but I'm not giving up both the 2nd round picks in this draft. What might be interesting is if you started adding next year's picks as part of the compensation...

Don't get me wrong, I like jeanty a lot and would take him at 10. BUT I wouldn't trade up for him and the trenches aren't nearly complete like some people think

I hope the Bears don’t trade up at all. This isn’t the draft to do that and the 2 second round picks are needed to fill out the roster with some very good starters.
CORRECT. If they do it just goes to show how arrogantly wrong and reckless Ryan Poles is.

1) The Bears are not one player away

2) Ashton Jeanty is not the guy you draft if you feel like you're one player away

3) Ryan Poles has no patience or maturity to be an NFL GM.

So, when you asked yesterday why I was giving you shit about hating Ben Devine, it's exactly stuff like this. Just so you know, the way you feel about seeing a Ben Devine tweet, is exactly how this entire board feels when you post anything. You are a bigger man baby then Ben Devine or any of the Twitter clowns you are jealous about.

The Bears should be able to add 3 absolute starters out of the top 4 picks. How they can even consider that trade is beyond me.
Yea, I honestly don't really believe it anyway. As much as I like Carter, I'd shift direction to Kayvon instead and see what that takes. One 2nd at worst, but maybe the 3rd gets it done. I like that way better.
