Correct. It’s fixable, but yes, 100% his biggest, and really only issue
Yea, he's my RB2 now too. I've been watching as much as I can on the top 6 or so backs and his plays just pop off with the eye test a bit more consistently. I've grown even more high on him since I listened to MJD talk about his blocking. I think he also never lost a fumble during his entire college career too? He has explosive play potential, he's tough, great blocker to help Caleb, and he's a team player (was cool with Judkins coming to OSU). I think he checks a lot of boxes. He's a back I'm very very confident would be a good player on this team for a while. My RB2. The guy is a non stop big play waiting to happen at any time
I'm already there. I already liked him but MJD has made me look at him more and i didn't realize just how good he was as a blocker until MJD talked about it and i went and watched him. It's really impressive.I'm starting to become a fanboy of this guy...
And can runHe is not a liability in pass blocking and can catch . Sign me up.
Just as I mentioned people shouldnt complain about losing to the Packers and then complain about getting a lesser draft choice because they beat them...I better not read anything on CCS about you advocating for the Bears to trade up, or any whining about missing out on drafting a player 7, 8, or 9![]()
They definitely rode his ass a ton as you would expect, but I don’t really see that as an issue or concern. He’s young and a freak of nature…I’d expect him to be a bell cow until 30 at least.Overused last year too.
I agree with thisMy almost two weeks out hot take is this:
One of Banks or Conerly gets drafted ahead of Campbell. And Membou is OT1.
I'd take the under on Jeanty and the over on Warren
This is definitely a dude I'd like to end up with. I hear he can go as high as the 2nd, but would be amazing if he fell to the 3rd. Groom him under Thuney for a seamless transition in a couple years.
Agreed. The logic is broken to begin with. Teams win meaningless games every year and trade up every year. Sometimes you have a high pick and you end up with a bad player cause of it. Maybe if the Rams lost another game, they don't take Donald cause someone else is available to them. Maybe if the Raiders won another game in 2022, they don't take Tyree Wilson and they have Jalen Carter or Wright or Gonzalez or even Bijan instead. Coaches and players try to win and the GM then has to do his job. Whining over and over about a "meaningless win" is so pointless. It's over already and no one in this forum had anything to do with the team winning that game.Just as I mentioned people shouldnt complain about losing to the Packers and then complain about getting a lesser draft choice because they beat them...
It works both ways...
Lot of smoke for Tet going to Dal. The under at 17.5 seems pretty solid. I think Will Johnson will lock a top 10 pick too if he runs well next week. So could be a worthy gamble to go under now for him.I'd take the under on Jeanty and the over on Warren
With all of Henderson's good traits, I think he is still best used in a time share backfield, like last year with Judkins. That and injuries in 2022 and 2023 may be enough to keep him out of the first round.Yea, he's my RB2 now too. I think he ends up squeaking into the 1st unfortunately. And, I actually think Jeanty will not go to the Raiders... and if that doesn't happen, no chance in hell Kelly allows him to slip past them at the top of the 2nd. So, I kind of think there's no way he's a Bear unless they love him enough to trade back into the 1st round.
I may not like it but would not be surprised if Ben Johnson wants a RB in round one. Though a trade down would be the best bet to get one.2025 NFL Mock Draft From Brendan Donahue – Sharp Football Analysis

#2 most accurate mock drafter over the last 5 seasons
If Ben decides he needs a certain player to ensure his offense succeeds then take him. I don’t care if it’s a TE or RB. I trust Johnson’s vision more than I do Poles’s vision.Ok but they're 1-2 injuries from having a shitty QB, or shitty RB, or shitty secondary, or shitty DL, or shitty receivers. You don't draft for depth at 10. You're looking for the biggest impact player, not someone for in case there's an injury.
That said, I don't think Warren will have a big impact, but like others have said, if Little Ben wants him then he must have a plan.
Yea, I think Ben plans to use a duo anyway, so it's the perfect Gibbs type long term here... really perfect fit when you consider his blocking on 3rd down. With all of Henderson's good traits, I think he is still best used in a time share backfield, like last year with Judkins. That and injuries in 2022 and 2023 may be enough to keep him out of the first round.
In Allen's defense Dexter at around 285-290 Could be used at DE on base downs and at DT for the pass rush.Gosh, did he slim down last year?
They aren't. He's not a DE unless he's playing in a 3-4. He may hold up better on run downs at DE though.
