Idk but he did play with it last year and that is likely why his production dropped. It's likely just going to be with him throughout his career and will almost definitely get worse as he continues playing. He can opt for a surgery but as with almost all back surgeries nothing is guaranteed to stop the pain with high stress activities.
Especially with his size. I’d take him off the board entirely.

that would be the upper end of where id be okay taking him, especially if he was truly playing with a hurt back last year. course, if he was playing with a hurt back i would want to see the medicals and make sure this isnt some degenerative back situation to where we end up with the D line version of Tev Jenkins...so itd prolly be a pass for me

id also want to know who else is on the board still at 72. id much rather take a Omar Norman Lott at 72 tbh( i know that screams of homerism lol)
Homerism or not 72 is about the range Norman-Lott is going to go, think that would be a great addition to the Bears rotation. Two older guys like Billings and Jarrett and the younger DTs Dexter and Norman-Lott.

No running back in todays nfl is worth the 10th pick in the draft.

I agree. It hurts a little as a huge fan of Boise State. I would love to root for Jeanty on Sundays but I just can’t get behind the idea.
Jeanty at 10 is too much, when you can use one of your 2nd rounders on Judikinns or someone like him while selecting Banks or Pearce or Green at the 10th pick.

I think if the Bears haven't taken a dt by 72, the guys I'd prefer before walker include norman-lott, cj west, Jordan Phillips, Joshua farmer, and probably even aenas peebles despite being more of a small gap penetrator. It's also worth mentioning guys like Alfred Collins and tj sanders who are likely 2nd rounders but may fall to 3.

There's probably other guys later who are better players than walker too. Junior tafuna, jj pegues, zeek Biggers, cam Jackson.
If Joshua Farmer makes it to #72 then i'm drafting him for sure.

Bears the ‘perfect fit’ RB in draft, and it’s not Ashton Jeanty

His Vert and Broad were good at the combine. I’m surprised he didn't run a faster 40 at his pro day. Some guys are not comfortable in “Track” mode and don’t run near as well as their game speed. However, 72 is the earliest I would consider him. I think RJ Harvey who played in the same conference is a better back.

His game speed matches his track speed. He's clearly the slowest RB in this draft. There is a reason he waited until they used hand timers to show off his "speed".

I could see Skatt at 72 if they go other directions—LT, G, DE, DT—with their first three picks. Swift would remain the primary back and Skatt would be used for short yardage. But we do have RJ, so...IDK? Versus Jeanty as the RB1 with Swift 3rd down/relief (or traded/released). Should be an interesting draft for sure.

The bears already signed a FB - Good old Doug Kramer. Not sure they should be drafting another fullback

Skattebo and Monty have the same 40 time. Monty had over 1k total yards each of the last 2 seasons and 25 total TDs over that span.

Good to see Ermmmshadows got another solid day drinking session in during happy hour before bleeding allover the board and posting every 5 seconds like it's his job.

Not my fault you enjoy consuming trash media.

Don't think he is getting by the Pats..............#1 OT in this year's draft.

I think the Pats will be staring at Travis Hunter. They aren’t passing on him.

He still could be gone before 10.
