Watched his reps... He was "ok" imo.
I'm not saying he was terrible or anything but I watched a lot of oregon tape and even his interviews and he just seems soft to me. Still has potential to develop but he doesn't seem like a great talent.
He's stated before that he's not very comfortable on the right side. He was basically taking those reps on that side for the first time and working with new movement. It's understandable that he'd not be at his best.
The thing is he has roughly the same pressures allowed per snap over the last 2 seasons as Simmons and Membou, who are commonly ranked higher. He also has a noticeably better pressure allowed rate compared to Campbell. If we go just off of his last season, he's better than Campbell and Membou in pressures allowed per snap. He did that while facing pretty good competition last year, Day 1 and 2 picks (Penn St, Mich, OSU twice). In those 4 games, he was only credited with a total of 6 pressures in 167 pass reps.
I'm not saying he's a lock or surefire thing, but I still don't see why he's routinely ranked clearly beneath those guys. All of them have bad things on tape. In the case of Simmons, the injury alone should be enough to swap their ranks. That said, I think teams will factor all that and he's going to be the 3rd OT off the board, and in the first round.
