There was one rep that went viral and that’s what fans fish branes remember
I watched more of his reps beyond that one. He was "ok" outside of that but lost on other reps as well

What would be an interesting scenario to me is a QB needy team trading up to ten and taking Donovan Jackson after moving back. Thuney is 32 and has not been extended yet. If he leaves, you have your LG next year. Plus, he covers them at LT if Jones isn’t healthy and Kiran is still looking raw. It provides true quality o-line depth at guard or OT.

And, I love the player!

Pure speculation but I am guessing Poles wants to wait to see what he drafts before extending Thuney. If you draft Campbell for example and he doesn’t look in camp like he can stick at LT then he becomes Thuney’s replacement next year and no need to extend him.

Also, I don’t think a team would need to trade to 10 for a QB. That’s a big move.

Watched his reps... He was "ok" imo.

I'm not saying he was terrible or anything but I watched a lot of oregon tape and even his interviews and he just seems soft to me. Still has potential to develop but he doesn't seem like a great talent.

Ah the old interview scouting. 😂

Nobody until draft day last year thought a team would trade up to 8 to take Penix Jr.

Dart has a good chance to build some heat in the next few weeks.

He's stated before that he's not very comfortable on the right side. He was basically taking those reps on that side for the first time and working with new movement. It's understandable that he'd not be at his best.

The thing is he has roughly the same pressures allowed per snap over the last 2 seasons as Simmons and Membou, who are commonly ranked higher. He also has a noticeably better pressure allowed rate compared to Campbell. If we go just off of his last season, he's better than Campbell and Membou in pressures allowed per snap. He did that while facing pretty good competition last year, Day 1 and 2 picks (Penn St, Mich, OSU twice). In those 4 games, he was only credited with a total of 6 pressures in 167 pass reps.

I'm not saying he's a lock or surefire thing, but I still don't see why he's routinely ranked clearly beneath those guys. All of them have bad things on tape. In the case of Simmons, the injury alone should be enough to swap their ranks. That said, I think teams will factor all that and he's going to be the 3rd OT off the board, and in the first round.

Yeah good point. QB desperation is a thing. I just don’t see a lot of teams after the Bears who need QBs. So not sure why the need to trade that high. Who are they trying to get ahead of? It’s Bears at 10 and then Pittsburg looks like the first team after that needs a QB

Unless thuney is all of a sudden washed (he was arguably the best G in the nfl just last year), I'd be shocked if he isn't extended. It doesn't keep them from taking a G at some point, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jackson is replaced before thuney. Jackson has been constantly injured and will almost certainly miss time again.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Saints or any team took Dart ahead of Sanders who I would comp to Mac Jones.
Better arm, runner, leader. Sit him behind a Carr, Stafford, Rodgers.. for a year and your set.

I hope they extend him. I don’t like wasting picks on rentals

Yes, why trade up to 10? Seems like they could wait a bit, but maybe they start getting nervous if they know the Bears are shopping the pick 🤷

It could be teams from the early 2nd that passed on a QB early to take Carter or Hunter or the like. Do the Bears want to drop that far? I'd be ok with it if they get a future first and then some.

In the end I think it's very unlikely they find a partner to trade down.

The Colts have Richardson but he absolutely sucks. I heard a report that suggested the owner in AZ is not a fan of Kyler Murray.

The Browns have an obvious need but coming up from 33 isn’t feasible.

Anyway, how would you feel about Jackson after a trade down?

The rams are also a sneaky team to get a qb if they like one. Staffords time with them is wearing thin

Unfortunately I believe Jackson was the one already extended a year if I'm not mistaken. I can't imagine giving up a 4th and not getting him extended.
