His helmet was almost completely ripped off and he got up so slow you'd think he just ran 100 yards.

People seem to believe that any QB can do what Jalen Hurts does consistently and what Saquon does, not because they are elite athletes but because Philly has a superhuman OL I guess.

If you dont know that Jalen Hurts is known for his strength and having a max squat over 600lb squats despite being only about 220lbs, that's not my fault. I mean obviously I said the guy was strong and athletic which is why he is the key for the tush push.

You then point out that another huge powerful QB is also very successful doing the same play, not because their OL is elite. Thus it's you defeating your own logic.

I literally just pointed out that when the OL loses, Josh doesn’t convert at a rate anywhere near his usual %. Same holds up with Jalen. You are quickly becoming one of the dumbest fucking morons on this board.

FYI... the tush push is having two players lineup behind the QB and push with the QB when he does a qb sneak.

Yes the OL must be good to even get leverage, but having a short stocky QB that squats over 600lbs OR having a QB that's about the same size and power of a DE aka Josh Allen... is even more important because most QBs could not consistently handle that abuse. No matter how elite the OL is.

Is that PFF elite or multiple all pro and future hall of famers elite like Philly has had?

Can a OL be very good without be elite, because I would think Buffalo falls in there.

Shouldnt Jared Goff be a Tush Push king with double digit TDs as well considering that Detroit has an elite OL.

Now we need to see if Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins, and Bo Nix were excellent at the Tush Push and had double digit TDs like Hurts & Allen

Perfect example is Jamo on the lions. Most bears fans thought he was a bust, me included. Now he looks like a legit NFL weapon after year 3.

Yes, of course players develop overtime and they improve overtime. But they don’t sit on the bench for three years like they’re in an incubator.

He has terrible production even outside of sacks. Only 5.5 TFL and 32 Tkls. Nothing about him says top 10 player outside of the combine.

I love the combine but you dont ignore the actual games just because he can run and jump well. Plus he didn't even do the benchpress.

It's horrible to gamble the #10 pick away on someone so unproven and risky.

Actually he does have things that say top 10 pick about him, unfortunately those things aren't as important as the low amount of sacks he's had over his career and yes i think we all, or at least most of us, understand that the gametape stands above all else when making the decision of drafting a player anywhere in the draft.

I'm not advocating for drafting him, as a matter of fact i've said that i wouldn't draft him at #10, i'm saying that this guy is a very intriguing player when it comes to measurements and he was really good against the run and his get off is great. He obviously needs to work on the biggest value you want in your DE with his pass rush. He needs to work on his pass rush moves and finishing.

Thanks, i should of never posted about him squatting 600lds because you are certainly running with that since you saw my post.

The tush push isn't as successful for the Eagles without a great OL and without a QB with such power in his lower half like Hurts has.

If it works out, it works out. I don’t want him but claiming a GM making a high risk/high reward pick and nailing it is a stupid decision is asinine. You can only knock him if it doesn’t work out.

It also doesn’t make sense to consider it “high risk“.

Taking Simmons coming off of a serious injury could be considered a risk. Taking Will Campbell who lacks attributes most deemed necessary for tackle could be considered a risk. I don’t understand what is considered a “risk” with Stewart other than risking that some fans don’t see it the same way the GM does.

I am not saying I want them to pick him. I just wouldn’t classify it as a risk, but I agree it absolutely would not be a stupid decision if he ends up playing like a top 10 pick

He is arguing about taking a running back with someone who claimed they need to draft the premium positions which include quarterback and wide receiver. So in his post defending the running back, he mentions a quarterback and a wide receiver, being key to the Eagles success.

He then goes on and on about the tush push, and denies that the offensive line is key to its success.

And you are right, he’s not going to see it or give in. Remy has a challenger.
