My favorite teams
I can't even imagine what they'd ask for in return. A future 6th or 7th?I would be a hard no!

Anyone that has written off Kiran “forever” aren’t too bright. None of us really know what he can be one way or another.
This.and you know these GM's have an ego and aren't about to give up on him after a terrible 2024 situation.
Add in that they are expecting Braxton to return and there isn't any slam dunk OT at 10 and I would think that DL or an offensive weapon for Ben seems most likely. just my 2 cents.
Amegadjie was always a project. No training camp due to injury on top of coming from a small school. They didn't want him to see the field in year one after having both Jones and Borom but both were injured so we didn't have a choice.and you know these GM's have an ego and aren't about to give up on him after a terrible 2024 situation.

I wonder where he thinks Jeanty should be picked. I'm guessing he's thinking the Raiders should go with Jeanty at #6.
Thought process seems fairly reasonable![]()
The best rounds for the Bears to address their areas of need in the 2025 NFL Draft
With the Chicago Bears roster set the way it currently is, the Bears are in a unique position ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. While most mock drafts have specificemail.fansided.com

It's not that I would be counting on Amegadjie to start the season as your starting LT but he's a nice developmental tackle prospect. To me, if you take Kelvin Banks Jr. at 10 then looking for a trade for Jones would be a good idea. You then pencil Banks in at starting LT with Amegadjie as the swing tackle and you're not worrying about having to pay anyone at either T position for another 2-3 years still.

The Chiefs have drafted an offensive tackle in 4 of the last 5 years and people expect they'll do it again this year.and you know these GM's have an ego and aren't about to give up on him after a terrible 2024 situation.

I think they should add a safety in FA post-draft. Marcus Williams makes a lot of sense.I think Green and Pearce both have higher ceilings than the DE's projected to be available at #39/#41. The questions with them are if Dennis Allen would sign off on DE's their size and the character issues.
I don't think he's saying round 3 is the best place to address the OL, he just has the other positions ranked higher on his list of needs for the Bears.
I wonder if there's any money left to spend in free agency to sign another DE, DT, OL, S, RB or whatever else that they can use to help any position that they weren't able to in the draft. There's still some really good names out there at multiple positions that can help this team.
Ahhh shit…trade up incoming![]()
A Letter to NFL GMs | By Ashton Jeanty
I truly believe I was born to do this.www.theplayerstribune.com
That's an interesting chart of stats!
Love this. I've been pushing for Mathew Judon for a while now and would love Marcus Williams or Justin Simmons for S. I do like Elijah Hicks but he needs at least another year to see if he can keep growing. J.Owens did some good things but also made some bad mistakes especially in coverage. I could cut Owens now and not look back if we replaced him with one of the two we mentioned or someone else in free agency.I think they should add a safety in FA post-draft. Marcus Williams makes a lot of sense.
I also think depending on the draft, an edge like zadarrius Smith or Matthew judon could make sense as a 3rd edge to rotate in

Well the only issue here is that Amegadjie is going to be lined up as the starting LT until Braxton is fully back from his injury. Hopefully Braxton will be ready by week 1 but as it currently stands Amegadjie is starting LTAmegadjie was always a project. No training camp due to injury on top of coming from a small school. I totally agree with that. But, I have to believe most everyone is skeptical. I know I am not ready - at this time - for him to be the starting LT if Jones is not ready day 1, or the swing tackle for that matter. I will be curious how he fares come training camp. I am praying he surprises to the upside.
I think we will find out how they feel about Kiran come the draft. If they take a LT in the first 2 rounds, wouldn't that sort of point to them not having faith that Kiran is what they hoped for?
Exactly. People are overlooking that having more tackles than you need would be a good problem to have. I'm not saying you just hoard all the tackles in the league, but Braxton and Kiran both carry big question marks right now. The lesser evil is to get a new one, that you're more confident will become a long term starter and then you have expendable depth that can be traded or at least become good comp picks. What the Bears can't have is two terrible LTs leaving a gaping hole on a young QB's blindside. That’s correct. Or they could be grooming him to be the swing tackle
