Penn State sure didn’t have a problem tackling him.

Cue the “but but they were game planning for him” crowd.
I’m not advocating drafting him but I’ll absolutely be fair. Penn State basically decided they would let anyone on offense beat them but Jeanty.
That’s tough for any back. That’s pretty much what Barkley would face weekly when he was on New York.

Right or wrong, I don't expect a T early this year since that was why poles took Kiran where he did last year. He was projecting him to 2025/6 and hoping to not need him last year.
Based on experience, level of competition, and pretty much all other measurable, Banks is light years ahead of Kiran. Right now, Banks is already better than Kiran and maybe even Braxton considering his injury.

The Bears shouldn’t be focused on the idea of “we spent a third round pick on this guy and we can’t give up on him.” If an immediate upgrade is available on the second most important position on the offense you take him. A 3rd pick isn’t a big deal and Kiran can still contribute and develop.

Draft the best offensive lineman available even if it’s a slight “reach” IMO.

What valid point was made? And what's true? What are these concerns that you have harbored for over a yr?
That doing an honest interview while visiting Denmark somehow inhibits Caleb Williams ability to excel at QB?

FFS get a life
Keep sucking Caleb's dick wishing you were actually sucking his dick. LOL

This guys feelings are hurt cause someone had an opinion about Caleb that he didn't like. Hahaha Clown

That is an incredibly mature and intelligent letter. The NFL guys had to be blown away by it. I like smart and talented. This guy checks both boxes for me.
The NFL defenders are saying, so we can't tackle you? Okay. LOL

That’s a pretty lazy take.

A useful analogy. Jeanty was on a JV high school football team. They were playing the varsity team that is one of the best in the state. The JV team has very few, if any, players that can or will ever play on that varsity team. And everyone knows it. The only reason the game is being played is because of 1 single person out of the entire team that is so good he would start over anyone at the position on the other team. Other than that, those 2 teams had no business being on the same field.

That won’t be the case in the pros, because the utter disparity won’t exist in that regard.

I made the same mistake when criticizing Banks. Mykel Williams, who isn’t close to a finished product, beat Banks over and over. That’s one game. Doesn’t mean Banks will be a bust. My issues with Banks extend past that one game though.

But to point to that PSU game without factoring in everything isn’t a logical way to evaluate him, imo.

Doesn't mean he's wrong because you don't like him. He makes valid points 100%. The base of it i guess would be "does Caleb care about his fame more than he cares about football" and that's not saying he doesn't care about football, it's just saying does he care about his fame a little too much. Absolutely valid.
Well, if he cares about his fame, he better care about football too or he'll be famous for bad reasons.

I couldn't care less about this stuff. This interview was probably a couple hours and then photos for a couple hours. I also won't listen to Canty though. He is 100% someone who says stuff to be controversial. And if he would truly care about this as a teammate, he's overbearing and needs to not worry about other people so much.

I’m just busting balls since people get all sensitive over him.

I do think the letter was kinda cocky. Like just STFU and get drafted kid. These kids talk too much these days. Wish they would get off my damn lawn too.

I told a buddy it was kind of cheesy. Something like that shouldn't really move the needle. All these RBs would say the same crap... hell, all these players at any position would say the same crap to some degree. I don't care that he wrote it, but funny how people have gotten hyped over it.

I would make this trade 10 out of 10 times.

"10) Miami Dolphins

Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

*Trade: Miami sends Nos. 13, 98, 135, and 224 to Chicago for Pick No. 10.

The Dolphins have work to do following the retirement of veteran left tackle Terron Armstead. The team has already added notable pieces to its offensive line, but the chance to land Missouri’s Armand Membou is worth trading up for.

Arguably, no college offensive lineman in the country faced more high-quality pass rushers on their schedule than Membou in 2024. Likewise, no blocker consistently found a way to disallow pressures and sacks against top-notch competition the way Membou did.

It feels as though the window may be closing for Miami, with several key stars either over or approaching 30. Membou gives the Dolphins an immediate starter in a key position while giving them one less thing to address when the time comes to tear it down."

Here’s what he projects for Chicago:

"13) Chicago Bears

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

*Trade: Chicago receives Nos. 13, 98, 135, and 224 from Miami in exchange for No. 10.

This, again, may be bullish. But I have been wondering how high Omarion Hampton would be getting projected if it wasn’t for Jeanty. Sticking at No. 10 and taking Membou would have been an option, but a team plugging gaps in free agency often suggests they have other plans in the draft.

Therefore, I’m giving them Hampton here. After two years of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, I’m not sure that D’Andre Swift moves the needle for Ben Johnson. The Bears have a competitive defense when they’re all focusing on the play and not the opposition fans (still too soon?), so they can afford to splash out on offense.

Hampton combines blistering home-run ability with the bruising power that weakens defenses over time. If Johnson wants his new offense to dominate as the Detroit Lions did, he’ll need dominant players like Hampton.

39) Chicago Bears
Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

41) Chicago Bears
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College"

Who said Kiran was as good as Banks? Is T their only need? I won't complain about a T in 1 but is it really a pressing or #1 need?

We'd like Jones to be better with a bull rush but imagine if Caleb actually had a pocket to step up into instead of having to constantly back up and all those outside rush deep redirects that were troubling are now a yard or more behind him. Most of Jones' pressures and sacks were as much the interior's fault as his.

Kiran got drafted as a guy with a ton of potential to be coached up and has had zero opportunity to have that happen due to not being able to practice until a few weeks into the season. No idea what he'll become but I suspect the staff will want to find out. You don't waste an early 3rd on an injured player you don't plan on using that year unless you project a round or more higher grade on him once back to normal and coached up.
