All the rumors basically say they’re hell-bent on offense cause Coen. That pick is just a shitty spot for offense if you’re not taking OL. That said, Membou is the obvious pick if I’m the Jaguars.Jeanty has jumped a TON on draftkings in the last few days for the jaguars. No clue why they would take him. They should be looking at defense, but the team is a trashcan and will remain one with their shitty HC/GM combo so nothing shocks me there.
Its also dropped a ton in the last few days to the raiders.
Honestly, at this point I have a feeling he may last to 10 unless a team trades up from behind the bears.
I think there’s no consensus this year. You could have 3 or 4 different guys as OT1 depending upon the team. We shall see tomorrow I guess3 OT's before 10 seems quite possible now, so Conerly is next up if the Bears want an OT at 10.

they do have Harrison who was a 1st rounder in 2023 at RT and Little on the other side.
Yea, and they just took brian thomas jr and have ettiene(I know he's struggled lately) and bigsby at RB.
They dont need an offensive player. That team is HOT trash because of defense and their inability to get to the quarterback. Their starting DT last year had 5 total pressures, and they want to pass up mason graham to potentially draft an RB?
I pray to god mason graham falls to #10, that would be a fucking homerun.
False narratives for 1,000 pleaseWright couldn’t cut it at LT in college, but he’s going to do it in the league?
I don't really believe any of the stuff we're reading here. Thing is, I don't know what to believe otherwise. We're in the thick of lying season, so that "I'm told this team is looking to move up" or "this team is looking to move down" could be total bullshit and posturing by GMs to either jockey for the guy they want or look to get the most value they can, be it in a deal or standing pat.False narratives for 1,000 please
Erik Armstead had 36 pressures. He plays DT in their 4-3 even though he's listed at DE.Yea, and they just took brian thomas jr and have ettiene(I know he's struggled lately) and bigsby at RB.

A very good, disruptive DT would help the back-end out quite a bit. But just reading the tealeaves, they hired Liam Cohen who's an offensive guy who then basically picked his GM. Coen was hired to fix Lawrence and it'll be easier to do that with a big-time weapon at his disposal. McMillan alongside Thomas, Jeanty to take over the backfield or even Warren/Loveland would make sense... moreso the receiving weapons anyway. Loveland seems like a nice fit even though that's awfully high for a TE in general.Erik Armstead had 36 pressures. He plays DT in their 4-3 even though he's listed at DE.
They need players all over the field. Past Thomas their WR are very bad, they have no TE really at all, their CBs are bad and thin. They could use DT but it's one among several positions.
Yea, you're right, but that's kind of why this is a crappy spot to draft. Membou is an upgrade to both their tackles. Little always gets banged up and Harrison is a bit of an unknown for now. Don't forget, Little was on the bench for Cam Robinson before Darrisaw went down and the Vikings traded for him. Cam is an ok OT, and Little being benched for him, being younger, says something about where they value him.they do have Harrison who was a 1st rounder in 2023 at RT and Little on the other side.
I think if they were able to move down a couple of slots, Tet is the guy. I think they're in a position where they feel it's a bad value pick at 5 and throwing smoke out there to get someone to hand them a free day 2 pick.Etienne had a hammy and shoulder last year as well, they could grab another RB later. (like everyone)
Coen had Godwin alongside Evans in TB, he might just want a BJT/TET combo too. Tet currently at +450 at #5.
If moving up in this draft is discounted compared to usual drafts, it'd be fun to be able to move up to #5 using just our 3rd this year and maybe another future 3rd or something. For Mason Graham? That'd be a homerun. Then you could likely slide down in the 2nd a bit to recoup that 3rd if you have to have one, though with Poles' 3rd round track record, probably best not to.Yea, you're right, but that's kind of why this is a crappy spot to draft. I understand if they prefer to keep that crew and pass on Membou, but the OL in Jacksonville needs work. Guard is the bigger need, but again, no way at 5 overall. So... my thinking is Membou locks down the RT spot. If Little shows signs of not lasting with his iffy knees, then Membou can slide to the left side one day. The hope would be that Harrison can then find a home inside. But, who knows... maybe Little moves inside or maybe they don't love Little enough to begin with. And ultimately, my real point is I don't love picking at 5 if I'm the Jaguars. I rather move down and get better value cause offense at 5 doesn't seem like the best fit.

If New England rolls with Will Campbell like most expect them to then #5 is where the draft really starts.
I get it... probably figures it's a waste to bother with teams outside the top few. But, it doesn't keep an open mind about trades. That said, visits are probably an extremely small data point.
Conerly at G is a pretty bizarre take. His lack of strength seems like a pretty terrible fit at G.
The narrative that the tackles could go higher than most people expect is one I can believe. Teams are hurting for tackles, what with all these guys that people says "he'd be better as a guard" and the volume of good D-line players in this draft. Banks could very easily not be available there.Peter Schrager has the Bears trading 10 for 14 and 80.
14. Chicago Bears (via projected trade with IND)
Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Banks could end up going before Membou as the top tackle in this class. He has the better tape and is more consistent. If the Bears trade back and still get him, that's a major win.

I wouldn't mind that, but I'm super out on moving to 5 for a RB. I just can't stomach the multiple assets for a hole that can be filled later. Hell, even if we had 5 overall, I couldn't stomach the RB pick... I hate it even more if it also costs me a day 2 pick.If moving up in this draft is discounted compared to usual drafts, it'd be fun to be able to move up to #5 using just our 3rd this year and maybe another future 3rd or something.
