Depends on the price. If he's the next Barkley you'll be thrilled. I'd prefer if we do move up (depending on how far it is) without surrending our #39, #42, or #72 pick. So that would probably mean 2026 2nd to get up to 5th. But with so many picks this draft, I'd certainly rather him fall to us and then use all of our picks this year.

I believe you’re most likely correct…but I wouldn’t completely rule it out. For example, if Denver offered #20, #51 and a 2026 3rd, maybe they think about it.

Saquon Barkley got the team that drafted him a fat load of nowhere. It t wasn’t until he scurried off to some team that drafts stud linemen almost better than the rest of the NFL at large (as a free agent) that his real potential was unlocked.

The bears, and multiple other nfl franchises passed on jalen carter for multiple reasons you are aware of.
I'm sorry, but a guy showing up out of shape and not being able to finish his pro day is not someone you take a risk on when your roster is full of holes.
You would be the same meatball saying poles is an idiot if carter looked fat, lazy and was acting like an idiot on the sideline under eberflus.

Wright struggled a bit early but was far and away the bears best OL in the 2nd half.
Comparing bobbie massie to darnell wright is like comparing anthony miller to dj moore.
