Good point actually. Very good point… no way Ian allows Poles to trade with them and let the guy they chose look good. Even if it’s the wrong choice not to move, I’d imagine they’d be stubborn. Ian just said how it hurt to lose that job and Poles can’t do that to his buddy.
Maybe they are in trade talks and will keep upping the offer until the last second, then pull the rug and tell Jacksonville they are going in a different direction, just out of spite 😅

I think you’re right in that Poles will look to add a veteran like Hendrickson or Kayvon. I don’t think Dayo is just an interior rusher though. Allen values really big guys to set the edge and collapse the pocket. While Dayo will certainly be moved cause Allen likes to do that, I expect he’ll primarily be on the edge of the line.

I hate a move up to 5. I don’t hate Jeanty and I’m sure we’d all move on and love watching Jeanty play. One day we may even say the decision was correct, but I hate it today. I feel he’s being hustled by the young guy trying to be overzealous.

Didn’t say he was just an interior rusher. Just saying he will do it a lot.

Ok, sure, but he's been considered one of the very best prospects behind Hunter/Carter for a very long time, and rightfully so.
The entire mock draft community is just an exercise in group think. Graham to Jax has been a lock, according to everyone, for months. Somehow everyone knew this with a new GM and new HC, as if they were going around telling everyone. Now, they what, changed their minds the day before the draft, like they just started watching offensive players, or something?

It's just entertainment for clicks. Just like every Bears and Jax Twitter clowns didn't just all learn, at the same time, the details of a trade up.

Consensus from the ratings generators is the bears pick Tyler Warren. I’m not thrilled with a TE but if this is the pick I trust Johnson has a plan for him. Having two TEs would be great for Caleb as well. Trying to see the positive but myself I’d prefer one of the edge or tackles.

Damn, good for you (well, your daughter) man! That’s the hottest ticket in town right now.

He already has 2 tight ends. Rome Odunze @ILoveDick

If they are hell bent on Jeanty, 10 and 41 for 5 and 107 is a fair deal. **** giving them 39.

Plus, there is no way in hell they should add 148.

They should stick and pick or trade down.

I’m still hoping for Banks Jr. but now it seems everyone is coming to the conclusion I’ve been stating for months, the guy is pretty damn good!

Although, I’m sure the NFL people knew this all along. It’s the pretend experts that have been dogging him.

If they did trade up for a running back the NFL would have to postpone the rest of the draft because no one in the media could stop laughing long enough to talk about the other picks. And 75% of this fan base would think they're laughing at the Jaguars.

Is Jeanty even going to be the best pro RB in this draft? I’ll take the field of 14 other guys vs him. Let the Jaguars have him if they want.

I’ll die on the hill that they’re bluffing. Another link for the Jags, Coen is “really good friends” with Jedd Fisch. They coached together with the Rams. He coached McMillian and loved McMillian.

TG I'm golfing today and will then be back for the draft.
Sunny, mid 70s, light wind. winner, winner, chicken dinner.

I’m playing too. I’ll definitely be back for the draft.

Where are you playing?

if they do fall for the Jaguars and trade up it will be almost as embarrassing as the Trubisky trade.
