Bears are certainly looking for a burner at the WR position....
I expect some deep play action passing incoming.
yup...Bears lack big strike abilty....could not would not do much play action passing....
Ezeraiku won't make it out of the first. He and green will be immediate impact pass rushers. Hoping neither make it to DetroitI don’t remember seeing a BC game the last two years. I don’t have an opinion on their top edge defender either. How good is he?
Receiver Matthew Golden, who ran a 4.29-second 40 at the combine, looked terrific in drills. He caught the ball extremely well and ran outstanding routes. Those on hand told me that Golden looked like an NFL receiver.
Another fascinating day on pro day circuit … It should be another very interesting day on the pro day circuit with a lot of the attention on national champion Ohio State which has arguably the deepest 2025 draft class of any program in the country including first round prospects in OT Josh Simmons, WR Emeka Egbuka, OG Donovan Jackson, DE Jack Sawyer and RB Tre’Veyon Henderson, although none are likely top 10 candidates. The Buckeyes also have a pretty good QB prospect in Will Howard. Also note that other than RBs Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, none of the top OSU prospects ran at the combine. However, the top prospects NFL teams will be looking at today will actually be elsewhere in Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty and LSU OT Will Campbell, both of whom are top 10 candidates with Jeanty, who did not run at the combine and may not today, one the hottest guys in this year’s draft. For the record, there are also pro days planned at Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.
I've heard some buzz around Cowboys and golden. If not there, probably falls into the 20s somewhereIf Al Davis was still around, the Raiders would take him at 6.
He averaged 17.0 per catch last year and 9 TD's.
DJ has him ranked 15 now, you just can't teach 4.29.
I wonder how high he goes.
Well, what 40-time would cause his draft stock to drop? 4.4 definitely not, 4.5 probably not, 4.6? That would be concerningJeanty should run but he probably won’t. I’m not sure there’s much upside for him to take the chance. I’m really curious how he would time.
87.5 career sacks....okay, lets draft himHe came off as an entitled, out of shape guy that had also been involved an idiotic, fatal drag racing incident. Yes, let’s draft Leonard fucking Little.
I would have passed on that dipshit too.
True and the Bear will have all the real detes before the draft.I definitely agree. Grady can earn those checks being the big brother. Green has been clean for 2 years and we otherwise have no idea of the context of the accusations. Peyton Manning was accused of sexual assault and look at him. I bet tons of guys have this shit covered up and we never get to know about it. Young people do a lot of dumb crap... and people who are filthy rich can get into some weird crap too. I'm not saying that makes it ok, but even the other guys may not be angels themselves and we just never heard about it. There are probably guys on the Bears now into some weird things. Who knows...
I think his stock drops if he doesn't run. Regardless of what he runs, expect his splits to be quick so may not matter that much if his 40 isn't great. He's not running a 4.6Well, what 40-time would cause his draft stock to drop? 4.4 definitely not, 4.5 probably not, 4.6? That would be concerning
He's said he would, but things change. He's really been moving up though. I even hear debates of him being a possibility in the top 5. So that said, if he wants to try to get there, he'll run. If he's content being somewhere in the 6-10 range, he should probably sit it out.Jeanty should run but he probably won’t. I’m not sure there’s much upside for him to take the chance. I’m really curious how he would time.
