What do you think of Jeanty and Hampton?
At work so don't have alot of time to get into it but,
Like them both a fair bit. I have Jeanty slightly behind guys like Bijan and Gibbs as overall prospects. Worthy of top 15 consideration.

Hampton i have as a borderline 1 rounder. His gody yards after contact, alot of them come from the 2nd level. He's not a make something out of nothing type back. Goes down when met in the backfield relatively easily. It's worth noting that is something Derrick Henry struggled with in college as well. Hampton needs a crease to get going a bit.

Joe Thomas previously stated this is a stupid measurement as it varies on how its measured from person to person

So nfl has tards doing measurements?

not the first year there have been discrepancies.
as noted, teams will do their own homework on this.
It won't be equal among all teams but in my mind If the Bears think he can play LT, a needy team ahead of them might think the same thing and he will be gone. Conversely, if the Bears think he's a guard, teams ahead of them might also think that. Either way, I don't think The Bears take him either because he will be gone or he will drop and they will pass.

Ever notice how the 40 times are magically faster at every single pro day?

Now the arm length is growing as well??? Shocking

teams usually tack on .5 seconds to pro day 40's.
Its not just pro days, its bowl games as well.

and judkins, henderson, sampson

hell, even Tuten intrigues me as a gadget player
And Martinez, Neal, Johnson, etc. I certainly don't think the class is overhyped. Of course the players all have their issues, including jeanty (Hampton is more complete than jeanty), but it's still a really good class.

Tbf, the college all star games had different measurements than the combine too and Nagy made a big deal of the same people do the measurements at combine and all star games like there wouldn't be differences

Pretty much every player's 40 is faster at pro days, year after after year.

The NFL combine a fully automatic timing system which is more accurate and slower than hand times.

Teams might be setting up FAT systems at pro days but if they are using hand times they will be faster. You would expect on average a hand timed run to be about 0.24 seconds faster than when using FAT systems.

I'd also like to think the combine removes all bias where as there may be some type of bias or less accuracy at the pro days, as different people will be performing the measurements for each pro day, where as 1 trained team is doing all the measurements at the combine and they are doing them the exact same way.

Edit: this also brings in to some context why back in the day some players had significantly faster 40's. I don't know when they instituted using FAT at the combine but if they were using hand times it would really discredit all of the times compared to current day players
