The development system in this game is broke... it acts like young current superstars never become better. I run the fantasy draft prior to my "Be a GM" career. I drafted Niklas Backstrom and Jonathan Toews, both 22 year old superstars who have a below 90 rating on the game... after 4 seasons neither of them have progressed beyond the 89 rating they have started with. Yet a player like Taylor Hall and Matt Duchene are already rated like 94.
