You gotta feel bad for the Kings and Sharks. Boy, with that long distance traveling, how will they ever get home to rest.

Yeah, San Jose is really set up for a good run.

Been playing incredible and now they get what should be a cakewalk of a first round series, and as you mentioned- with minimal travel.

Good time to be a Sharks fan.

Hopefully we can keep having Vancouver's number.

Should be interesting, but they are rolling on all cylinders.

Agreed. Hopefully.

They are probably happy to draw us as, if they do win, they will come out of it healthy.

Hell no they aren't happy to see us. Earlier in the year, Pat Foley talked to one of the assistant coaches in Vancouver and he commented that the last team he wants to see in the playoffs is the Hawks. We match up against them very well.

Well, of course he's going to say that...

But you didn't comprehend my thought.

Vancouver's health is interesting.

Their D has been all kinds of banged up this season- even lately towards the end of the season. Just about all of them are back and active, but their entire corps hasn't been too sturdy. Of course, one look at their record and you realize that all the dents and dings have not phased them all that much.

Yes it is. But at least they need not fear as our forwards don't hit, save one...who is hurt on a missed hit.

Rematch between Pho and Det could be interesting. I'd love to see Doan go into beast mode as he did last playoffs before he got hurt.

Pho completely faded away when he went down.

No, he doesn't have to say that off the record to a friend of his. (I forgot which assistant it was, but he has known Pat for years.) He honestly didn't like the matchups. It was after a game in which we beat them. Of course the regular season, but still.

And I got your thought, but I don't understand how they will automatically be healthy if they beat us. I'm assuming because we don't have Buff anymore, but that doesn't make much sense, since he didn't injure people, he just annoyed Lu and the team. *shrug*

Naw, has nothing to do with Byfuglien; it's simply because as a team, we don't hit.

I can't deny that, but I don't remember major injuries being a factor the past two years vs them. I guess I didn't address it because I didn't understand it... still don't. *shrug*

Well, how I mean was this: If they come out victorious in the series, they'd probably end up coming out of it healthier than say if they played Anaheim, LA, or Dallas. Not necessarily fewer injuries, but for sure less bumps and bruises.
