My favorite teams
Lauri playing really well
yep. Trading him and/or Zach right now would be a mistake imo

Dear god just put this terrible team away...

I think he’s a 60 something from Elgin
Why - is this team going to contend for a title within the contract periods for those two?
If not - they gots to go!
so you just recycle players over and over till you draft a Batman type? I’d rather keep the #2 and #3 scoring options to hopefully attract a #1 to want to play here
It's hard for me to believe Lauri is shooting 41% on 3's. Everytime I watch he is jacking up bricks. To me he contributes very little to the team. He doesn't rebound well, is awful on defense, doesn't pass well, can't really create his own shot, is mediocre at best in the post. All he does is shoot 3's pretty well. On nights his shots isn't dropping he is a black hole. He is a guy that would be much better as like a stretch 4 off the bench for a contender. If they can get any value for him, I'd move him in a heartbeat.
I didn't turn it on until the second half. I missed his productiondid you watch last nights game? Lauri was not just sitting at the 3 point line taking 3’s all game. It was aggressive lauri. Taking it to the rim lauri. When he plays like that, he is a difference maker. And that’s coming from someone who has been extremely critical of him for the same reasons you mentioned.

Because ZL and LM are not good enough to be 2 of the 3 top players on a title team. They play below-average D which explains their poor +/- stats.
I agree with your premise, I am merely acknowledging those two are assets which should be monetized to best serve the long-term interests of the team.
I just don't think Lauri is that much of a difference maker. He's terrible defensively and his effort/aggression/testicular fortitude seems to vary game by game. He's weak in the post, both offensively and defensively and he's not that great at creating his own shot. Against better defenses and defenders, he's not a guy that's going to really do much damage on his own. He's very similar to Niko in that regard. I would rather trade him for a 1st rounder or perhaps a PG or even wing player then have to pay him a contract that probably exceeds his actual on court value.
