Nice! Those 8s are one of my all times favs.

Im not a fan of the fear pack. I guess the 5s look decent too though.

My next cop if possible will be the Stash Reeboks. DB 3s rumored to drop on the 20th

got the 8s on today. love em

to avoid the "air jordan" on the strap from getting scuffed, i keep the straps undone and loop the laces through to pull them back. hoping this will keep the air jordan nice and clean for longer.

what are the DB 3s gonna look like?

Is a "sneakerhead" like a male version of my wife, except without someone stepping in with fiscally conservative sensibility?

something like that. but ive seen what some womens shoes go for, lubitons (fk spelling), jimmy choo's, that sell in the 1000s. the reeboks we're looking at cost $65 lol

it is embarrassing how many pairs of sneakers i have though. but then i look at people like jr smith, nate robinson, dwade, stephen jackson, i dont feel that bad haha

some vintage original jordans can run up well over 1000 however. but those are collectors items with history

Sorry, just messing with you guys.

I think it's a cool hobby. I know a guy that does this but almost immediately sells 'em over the internet to people in remote farmland ares of the midwest for a hefty profit because "sneakerheads" out there don't have good access to inventory so they pay a premium for the objects of their obsession.

Speaking of, Does it make you crazy though if you are out wearing a pair of collectable shoes and you step in some gum? Do you freak out if you see some asshole spits their gum on the sidewalk?

Lol i hate stepping on gum even if im wearing my regular workboots. Its just a pain in the ass.

Im not too heavily involved in the whole sneakerhead scene anymore. One of the main reasons being the hype and hysteria thats come with it causing people to buy a whole stock just to sell for sometimes double the price. I feel the retail price is expensive enough. I cant bring myself to pay more.

Also im not a guy who freaks out if my shoe gets stepped on or creases etc...they are shoes and treat them as such. I do clean them though

i also i hate stepping on gum regardless, but if i am wearing a better pair of kicks of course i will be proportionately pissed. gum is hard to get out of your shoe, and if you happen to drag it on some carpet, good luck getting it out of there. i dont get pissed that people spit their gum out, more that i wasnt watching my step. people will never stop spitting gum out on the sidewalk so its better to focus on watching where im going.

i do obsess over creases (on my leather retros mainly, like the 5s). i wish i didnt but with how much they cost i want these babies to look fresh for as long as possible. i wear sneakershields and no i dont care if thats weird haha

the scene is terrible nowadays. i try my luck online but dont go any further than that. im not gonna get my ass stabbed or robbed.
