They'll get some much needed rest.

Now, time for Stan to get to work soon.

As of right now the Hawks have 58.685MM going towards next year with no new contract with the RFA, UFA, FA and trades.

I don't know how much they have to work with, though.

I say get the catapult ready and put Turco, Stalberg, Pisani, Hendry and possibly Dowell on it.

Brou and Kopecky might be a bit too expensive.

Frolik and Crawford look like the only definite ones to sign on that list. As for Campoli, I guess it depends in what direction they are looking to go on D. Especially when their D squad is getting on the expensive side.

Crawford, Campoli, Frolik and Brouwer are the players that i think the 'Hawks should definitely re-sign. Everyone else, to me, is not a big deal.

I would also like Ryan Jonson back, and kopecky if he takes under 1 mil

Would really like to trade Campbell..

That 7 mill really hurts
Yea, but with campbell it is a slippery slope...his money hurts, but he doesn't play, we hurt as a team. Plus Campbell has a no trade clause, so that makes it more difficult

i know we are in the minority here, but I also want him to stay...i dont think he will though

discount? the hawks and the NHL teams that would sign him have the upper hand in negotiations, as he is not that good.

he is a waste of a roster spot.

Besides his horrible stat line, the other intangibles that come along with evaluating talent are also not there, sure he can skate, great!! He has no hands, zero. The only specific skating talent he has is stop to go speed, but he cannot manuever his skating and when you combine that with no hands, you have a bad hockey player.

Quenneville agreed the Hawks need to be a tougher team to play against next season. Bowman sidestepped the issue. #blackhawks

adamjahns Adam Jahns
Bowman talked a ton about Frolik, despite no specific question about him. I fully expect him to stay in the fold for 11-12.

ChrisKuc Chris Kuc
#Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman says Panthers have not asked for permission to talk to asst coach Mike Haviland about opening.

@adamjahns: Bowman doesn't foresee going to arbitration with Crawford. #Blackhawks

@TramyersCSN: Bowman would like to get Sharp extended "sooner than "later." #Blackhawks

Anyone see Turco being back? Salak our backup now?
