Anyone see Turco being back? Salak our backup now?

No and no. It could happen, but I don't see it.

I don't wanna waste a bunch of cash on a backup.

In what world would Turco have leverage to demand a raise or even stick around at the same salary?

He'll go somewhere else, most likely. Or he'll go away. He's a dying breed. Best of luck to him.

I would also like Ryan Jonson back, and kopecky if he takes under 1 mil

I am not a huge fan of Kopecky. He's a below average skater. Maybe I just don't like him when they put him on center on the 2nd line. I don't think they'd really get anyone for him. He doesn't have a great trade value.

All the hawks would have to do, if they see things your way, is to simply not re-sign him.

Letting go of Kopy would be a huge mistake.

One of the few guys on this team willing to pay the price in front of the net.

I highly doubt he'd be asking for the moon money wise.

Just because he is willing doesn't mean he has the skill-set to make it work.

Hawks need more then willing. Some team will over-pay for TKOP and he will be way too expensive.

Kopecky does nearly everything you desire. Yes he does it at a below average level but when he does it all with a lot of drive, he is a valuable player. His pay, if no more than 1.25 Mil, can be quite good value for what he'll give the team.

Solid. It will be interesting if he will want to cash in on his most productive season or if he'll take a discount to stay with his homeboy.
