PPG - Steve Montador (3) Tip-In - Assists: N. Leddy (10) & D. Keith (8) ?

on goal #3 was that a line change or were they using one of those guys as a forward?

Fantastic game by Stalberg. Guy was everywhere and strong on the puck.

Kane... still awesome. Still overpaid.

Nice to see the D putting up some big points.

Good win with room for improvement defensively. Hope Seabrook is OK.

Good to see Monty playing well despite once again having a POS pylon as his 'partner'.

Well check out what coach Q thinks

Coach Joel Quenneville likes what he is seeing from behemoth blueliner John Scott. "He hasn't had much of a chance to play on 'D' in a long time," said Chicago's bench boss. "If he keeps improving like he has in skating and his mobility, he looks like there is room to grow in his game back there. He's got the long reach. He moves the pucks alright. He looks for direct plays. I think given a little bit more ice time, hopefully he can continue to improve and help us." He has seen his ice time increase dramatically since being shifted to the back end for the last four games after he played over six minutes just once in his first appearances of the season. Also when John Scott has played, the Blackhawks are 5-1-1. Just a stat I thought I would throw out there

I've noticed this and I've been impressed by it. If he's on the boards and he's about to lose the puck or get challenged for the puck, he doesn't hesitate to shovel the pass up the boards and out of the zone. Likewise, if he's at the other teams blue line, he doesn't hesitate to throw the puck in if he's covered rather than look for a play and potentially turn the puck over.

It's not pretty hockey by any means and it's not what you want to see out of all your d-men, but it's smart hockey that minimizes mistakes and that's what you want to see out of him. His skating has definitely gotten better and he's rightfully cautious when the puck is in the other teams zone.

I don't mind him getting some ice time.

Stalberg played a heck of a game. I don't know how you could argue against that.

He's a good fit on that great line of Toews and Hossa. He's pretty strong on the puck and his speed is creating space and making things happen. He just looks good rushing the puck into the zone.

4g, 4a and a +7, all while earning the right to play on the top line after starting the season on the 4th.

So far, so good, so what.
