Marc J. Spears an NBA writer for Yahoo Sports tweeted that OJ Mayo is getting interest from Lakers, Bulls, Suns, Mavs and hopes to make a decision in the next 10 days. What do you guys think? Will OJ Mayo pick the Bulls?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
At this point, I'd rather have Patty Mayo play 2 guard next season :pedobear:

I would rather see the Bulls pass on Mayo this year, amnesty Boozer and go for Eric Gordon next year instead.

I always sort of thought Mayo and Rose would play well together. Not sure why.

It's probably gonna be PHX or Dallas. I'm betting on PHX.

Well, since we're involved.... he's surely going to land with any team not named 'Chicago Bulls'

If they can get him for a bargain, I would like him. He honestly isn't that good though.

I thought NOLA matched Phoenix's offer sheet of 4/$58? Who said Gordon would be a free agent next year?

How can you say this after 3 years of bogans, brewer, korver and rip as our main 2guards who rarely made a dent in the scoring department?

In comparison to those guys, mayo would look fantastic.

Rose needs this........bad
Mayo would relieve a lot of pressure off rose because he can create his own shot.
Plus o.j gives us size in the backcourt....

Not saying this would make us a super contender but oj would make the team better than it is.

The bulls 2guard position has been like a piece of bread with nothing on it. (Tasteless)
Add some Mayo to it, and give it some flavor...

Get it done PaxGar....

If PaxGar does, I will actually consider saying nice things about them.....maybe

I'd love to have Mayo on a 5 mill contract. I think he would add a dynamic we really need for a fair price. Phoenix is just desperate and I see him getting a 3/24 deal from them. We just can't match that.

Gordon's not a FA next offseason. The Hornets matched the Suns 4 year, $58 million offer. And because of that Mayo will likely end up in Phoenix because they'll offer him the most money.

While I hope and pray the answer is yes, I highly doubt he picks us (actually more like I'm absolutely certain he won't) because we have no money to give him compared to other teams. He's going for money, not wins/rings.

I would be curious to see how Rose and Mayo could play together. But I can see Mayo deciding to play with someone else other than us.
