If the Heat tried to go small against the Bulls as they did against the Thunder, they would have been decimated on the boards.

LeBron was aggressive in his face-up PF role and it was enough to beat the Thunder who pretty much wet themselves.

He actually was pretty bad from outside of the paint. What James did well was stay aggressive trying to force in way into the paint to score and it opened things up for everyone else.

Battier was the one who was REALLY hot.

Considering that Lebron was very effective at the power forward spot against the Thunder, I can only imagine how much of an embaressment Boozer would of been, had we faced them in the conference finals...LoL
Lebron might of had 50 plus points a game against the 1971 Pinto styled Boozer Cruizer.

I like orange juice and I like mayonnaise, but I'd like O.J. Mayo on the Bulls much better.

We're not even sure what Mayo's price range is yet. Though if I'm guessing it will be similar to what Lin is being offered (3yr/$25-28M). That is going to tough for the Bulls to get him at that price. Getting the trade exception from ATL today is a step in the right direction & if it can be paired with Rip's expiring, maybe, just MAAAAYBE, GarPax can pull this off.

If they do, then the moves thus far have been justified. Mayo has potential out the ying-yang that the Grizz never fully tapped into by constantly changing his role & playing time. Give this kid the minutes & he will produce & do it at a high level.

John Gambadoro: OJ Mayo came to town but Suns made no contract offer. He wants 8 mill + a year and for Phx to be interested that price has to come down.

This is a good thing and a bad thing. Good that the Suns didn't make an offer but bad because Mayo is looking for a significant pay raise that will probably take us out of the running.

Looks like Dallas could be the front runner now.

The more I'm seeing and hearing about Mayo's price tag and what Diddy referenced, it's seemingly more likely that he'll end up in LA.

That would be impossible for them unless it's a S&T. Considering that the Grizz made Mayo an UFA, I don't think they want any contracts back in return which could be a problem. At least with us, we have $5M trade exception & Rip's expiring contract that's only guaranteed for $1M this year I believe. It's still possible that we could land him, but Dallas can sign him outright.

Oh well. I didn't think he would sign with the Mavs but tbh I didn't see him signing with the Bulls.

The Bulls are officially throwing the towel for the next year. Tbh as a fan I would like the Bulls to make a big move now but if I were the Bulls owner I wouldn't spend money in a year like next year.

If I had to spend money I would prefer to spend money when I would be 100000% sure that Rose is back healthy and fully recovered. So whatever makes it easier to get some free agents in the next off-season is good news long term. I wouldn't match Asik's offer, I would go with the team as it is, if I make the playoffs nobody will complain about not being a championship contender, if I miss the playoffs then again nobody will complain and I would have a top16 pick in my hands. And the Bulls are one of the teams that know how to use their picks.

It's a huge opportunity to rebuilt in a way the team without breaking the core. (And imo the core is Rose Noah and Taj. everybody else is replaceable. Noah is replacable too but you can't find a better player easily so he is one of the guys you must keep no matter what. Asik would be a good piece too but in that price NO.)

I have a feeling that we will sign Carlos Delfino. I don't know why.
