There are rumors and articles circulating that oklahoma state's OC Dana Holgorsen could be joining the WVU staff within the next few weeks.

Speculation is that if WVU's current OC takes a head coaching job at Kent State, then Holgorsen will come to WVU and filled the OC role while being labeled head coach in waiting for one year.

If the OC job at WVU doesn't open up, WVU's HC may be fired after our bowl game regardless of result to make room for Dana Holgorsen.

WVU's HC is supposedly 100% against the HCIW tag (as it's a slap in the face to him as he would be training the guy taking his job)

Holgorsen has been the OC for Texas Tech under Leach, Houston when they were in the top 25, and Okie State.

Reports coming in that it's a done deal. He will take the OC job and be HCIW.

It's extra special since Pitt were looking at him for HC.

He supposedly isn't joining our staff until after the bowl season. I doubt this would effect his playcalling. If anything it may make him want to show what he can do.

Your only hope is if our coach resigns in the next couple days and Dana takes over immediately, but I cannot see our coach Stewart bailing on our players before a bowl game, absolutely never ever, the only reason would be if his wife/son were ill and needed him to resign.

hey TBO, there are rumors going around that your "co-coordinator" may be going to WVU with Holgorsen.

Do you know anything about the guy?

I know we lost our co-defensive coordinator to colorado, and we named the other "co" coordinator as full coordinator.

Was it our offensive or defensive? I cant find these rumors

Oh man...

Seth Littrell is awesome!

His offense is based around a short pass game with MANY bubble screens and quick slants. Not too many outside runs, he likes to run it right down peoples throats. And every once in awile, he goes for the home-run pass

thanks for the link

this move makes sense. Our current line coach has been junk and is being removed, bringing this guy in will help Holg install the offense while filling in the oline coach position
