Before the Bee Gees wrote all those 70s goofy disco songs, they wrote a number of great songs that kinda flew under the radar

This one is called To Love Somebody. The Bee Gees wrote it for the great Otis Redding but he died just before he could record it. Other like Tom Jones, Janis Joplin, Kathi McDonald, Michael Bolton all later recorded it. This YouTube version is recorded by a bar band from Austin Texas

Omelet's Monthly Music thread

Not normally a big Springsteen fan. He does a nice job with Chuck Berry's Never Can Tell. This song was used in Pulp Fiction. Here he plays with the audience a bit. Too cool

There is a music forum. Why do you always post shit in the wrong place?

Because my monthly music thread is a tradition and an event here. It transcends the normal boundaries. Mods like Scoot have good taste and enjoy this thread.

What's wrong? The thread is now in the correct location.

You probably didn't even view the videos but just stopped by to troll Ommy. Typical trollbar.

I like this one. Not a big fan of Bruce either. Not sure why they call him the Boss, it's not like he signs the checks that the E street band gets. But whatevs, nice cover.

I watched the Springsteen one. The Pulp Fiction one, well I've seen the movie before.

They're the same song anyways.
