On Feb. 23, 1954, the first mass inoculation of children against polio with the Salk vaccine began in Pittsburgh.

Speaking of mass inoculation, where has Ass-crack Havok been lately?

Wow. 19 years ago. I remember that cause a few days after it started I was put in the nut bin and I was released before it was over.

14 my dear.

I didn't get electro shock, but I did get a Thorazine booster once. That's what the patients called it anyway. I assume it was Thorazine, but it may have just been a powerful sedative. You could always tell when someone got the booster cause the next day they would barely be moving when walking. The Thorazine Shuffle. Picture a slow moving zomie.

Not a hell of alot of historically interesting stuff has happened on leap day. The most significant in my mind was the einvention of the 1st electrical tabulating machine in 1860.

Compared to him, I had an amazing awesome childhood in the gumdrop kingdom filled with lollipops and cheeseburgers.

I think my folks just had great insurance and wanted to not deal with me. I will admit, I was a little(well, large) butthole, and I don't blame them. The diagnosis the doctors gave me just left me scratching my head.

Nope, Jako. Let's just say the psychiatirst pointed the finger at her as to the root of the issues I had back then. Needless to say, I never saw that psychiatrist again.

Speculation. Pretty much the history of Rome prior to the founding of the republic and the overthrow of Tarquinius Superbus can be treated as about historically accurate as the bible. Romulus was supposedly raised be a she wolf and the bastard child of the God Mars after he hate raped some poor woman and Rome was allegedly founded by Aeneas a Trojan prince fleeing from the sack of his city, after stopping to bone a Carthaginian goddess on his way.

Yeah but the stories are fun. Who wants to hear about a boring trade war between the Greek city states and Illyria when you can hear about the Trojan horse and Aeneas escaping the siege to found Rome. Romulus suckling at the teat of a wolf and raping some chick to start Rome is very interesting. The small city states around Rome growing together and slowly becoming a kingdom ruled by a local chieftain is boring. Probably why the story was written that way. That's why I always like those stories better.

Smart psychiatrist. The one that signed the papers for me to be thrown in the bin wanted the money I think. He "diagnosed" me with depression(really? Everyone is clinically depressed, I swear) and homicidal tendencies. What a fuckstick.

I almost peed my pants. I'm sorry, that just tickled my funnybone. Did you have a nurse Rachett and an Indian friend?

No Nurse Rachett that I remember, and there was a guy that may have had some native American blood. He was from the Quad Cities area.

When I was in there, the Grateful Dead were coming to town, and the juvenile ward I was in was over capacity cause a bunch of parents decided to put their kids in there. I guess they were worried their kids were doin drugs. At one point, there was 22 kids there, and there was space for maybe 15. There was a mini riot, the cops showed up and everything. Good times.
