Definitely worth the follow.Cool. I'll follow him myself then. I also think Pace is safe - much as I hate the idea...
First it's from a Kaplan source who also wasn't convinced Ted would retire but said he wouldn't be shocked if he did and it doesn't say anything about Pace taking over for him.I found it - Kaplan: Source Suggests Bears President Ted Phillips Could Retire After Season
Not the bleacher nation article, but it points to the original source - Dave Kaplan on ESPN 1000 December of last year...

Hahaha wasn't coming at you, was just saying it didn't say anything about Pace taking over for Ted which was what i was wondering.Hey man, don't shoot the messenger. You wanted to know how it kicked up again. This was where it started up.

Thanks for posting it for me.
This is the easy way out for ownership. Fire Nagy. Pace hires a GM who hires next the HC. Ownership doesn’t have to be heavily involved. They like Pace. If it gets Teddy out of Football decisions (works on new stadium and finances) and replaces Nagy I’m ok with it. Don’t trust ownership to hire another GM.
