We need Suzuki bask ASAP. That lousy play in the fight field hurt the chance for Cubbies to go 2-0 against the Brewers.
Who was that loser out there that didn’t lay out?

I must say, I miss the old WGN superstition. Can't watch cubs games like I used too.

I use MLB Tv. Is not to bad, but I agree ,is not the same as old WGN.

I admit I didnt think Swanson was a "home run signing". He's been good to start. 7 for 9.

Keep it up

MLB tv is pretty good but NBA league pass has completely gone to shit. Even if the Bulls didn't suck I'd get rid of it.

I'll wait for Hayden's start to really get a perspective.

I see it as SP is getting deeper but David should piggyback guys for now. Talion out after 70 pitches. Smyly blew up 93 pitches in the 5th.

Assad shit on Steele's gem.

So some defined roles should be on the table.

Fulmer Closer
Box set up

Assad, Marryweather mop up

Rucker, Alzolay, Leiter, Thompson piggy back guys

This should help build up the rotation early season. After they get 6 innings regularly then switch up the game plan.

The games are lost mid inning not late. By then it is too late. Box and Fulmer are vets and in a stable 8/9 save situation is beneficial to them.

Way too early to make drastic changes. Baseball is all about having ample sample sizes, and we aren't close to that yet.

Ross, generally, has a nice feel for how use a pen but they really handed him a pile of shit this year. He'll have a tough time building any trust in this clown show. I have a feeling that Hoyer's retro-roster act will be short lived and we'll be seeing quite a few of the kids in the not too distant future.

The could be quite good tbh.

I would stand pat. If they are in the hunt and LAA are out of it then talk trade with LAA for
Othani.

a good starting spot would be Wells and Brown then offer Kevin Alcantera.

at that point it would be time to cut Hosmer and push Mancini to 1B.

If they were talking PCA or no. Rather do nothing.

Respectfully disagree. Hosmer should stay in 1st base.
